Hello everyone,

I'm excited to introduce the latest update for the Dismembering Framework: Alpha 03!

This version represents a significant step forward with the introduction of a comprehensive Mod Configuration Menu (MCM) and the addition of the first iteration of the creature pack (which currently only contains the Draugr), expanding the capabilities of the framework.

What's New in This Update:

  • Mod Configuration Menu (MCM): The new MCM completely replaces the .ini file and offers an extensive range of options for all types of actors (NPCs/creatures, animals/others) and weapons in the game. With a total of 68 variables, it allows for deep customization. This MCM is compatible with the MCM Helper to ensure data persistence across sessions.

  • Updated Dynamic blood effects: Blood spurts now gradually flow over a shorter distance after dismembering a limb, significantly enhancing the realism of dismemberment combat for deeper immersion.

  • Customization of Bullet Time: Utilize the MCM to fully customize the bullet time feature. Explore a variety of options to tailor this functionality to your preferred gaming style.

  • Creature Pack (only covers Draugr for now): The Creature pack is now available, featuring all assets for Draugr (male & female). This marks the first step towards covering all creatures in the game.

  • Technical Improvements: The core framework (DLL) has undergone thorough cleaning and optimizations to enhance overall performance. These improvements also enable real-time interaction with the MCM.

Future Plans:

Looking ahead, I'm exploring the possibility of implementing more extensive customization options in the MCM, potentially including settings tailored to different races. This is still under consideration. What's certain is my commitment to adding numerous assets to both the humanoid and creature packs. These assets are crucial for the mod's functionality and its thrilling, dynamic nature. I'll be dedicating significant time in the coming weeks to create these assets.

As for new feature additions, I don't anticipate major updates before the official release. However, the mod will likely continue evolving post-official release on Nexus. Therefore, this Alpha release may be the last, with the next update possibly transitioning to a beta version, closely following the mod's official Nexus release.

I look forward to seeing how these updates enhance your gaming experience. Stay tuned for more updates and announcements to come!

Hello my friend! There is a bug or something like that. I can't dismember unic male NPC. There are no problems with non-unic males at all. I can dismember every guard but Sven for example - never.

Also, If you will create Boosty I support you with money. I can do it on Pateron because the USA sanctioned Russia and I can't pay abroad with Visa or Mastercard from Russia. Sorry.

I am considering to try this out. Do I still need your Simple Beheading mod, and would you recommend using this and maximum carnage together?

Seb263

Simple Beheading can be removed because this framework completely replaces its functionalities. Regarding Maximum Carnage, it depends on the gaming experience you're looking for. Dismembering Framework aims to provide a smooth and coherent experience, whereas Maximum Carnage focuses more on excessive gore with significant script-related latencies. However, based on the feedback I've received, it seems that both can coexist.
