Hey! We're going ahead and releasing an updated version of the latest Our Life: Now & Forever prologue. It doesn't have any new scenes but it fixed some issues with audio stuff and the MC screenshot feature, tweaked certain dialog to be clearer/have a little more context, and those new MC outfits made it in! 

There are still some small wording issues that have been brought up and need to be fixed, but we wanted to make sure people who were backing for the month of October got access to this. 

If you're already happy with what you seen of the new events, there's no need to play this beta again.

  • 16,000 words of new scenes
  • MC doll eyebrows matching your chosen hair color
  • Earrings as a new accessory option, along with some other new MC doll pieces
  • The option to take a full screenshot of your MC
  • One new music track to hear and unlock in the music room

Okay, I’m enjoying how OL:2 seems to be developing relationships more organically. I was looking forward to that before we even started getting Beta’s and seeing it in action is awesome. In particular *very very minor spoiler ahead i guess* in my most recent prologue playthrough Qui said they think MC is pretty. They’re relationship is strictly neighborly right now. That is something that probably would have been reserved for friendship or crush level in the first game. That being said Qiu and Cove do have VASTLY different personalities so that has a lot to do with it I’m sure. It’s just a nice touch that I appreciate because I love a good slow burn,

Interesting! I didn't know that happened in the neighborly stage of fondness as well. I'm curious, did you make any of the choices indicating you thought they were pretty? I could see Qiu saying it just because they're a very cheeky kid, but I could see it being tied to something the MC said or thought just to indicate the feeling was mutual, as well. Adorable either way.

My MC thought that Qiu was prettiest person they’ve ever seen but definitely did not say so. So that might have triggered it. I’m going to try it out without selecting that option and see what I get.

I get an error every time I try to load a save file. Also when I press esc while in game.

You can't load saves from the public demo in this beta build, if that's what you mean. I'm afraid you can only use saves from prior betas or start a new file.

I did. I started a new save file in this beta build and when I came back after saving, I kept getting errors and couldn't start a new game.
