High number of declined pledges (Patreon)

Many creators have been reporting on the Patreon official forum about an huge increase of declined pledges. Most of this problems may be because patreon moved their processor from the US to the UK, making banks marking payments as fraud.
One of the Patreon mods, Mindy,  is recomending declined users calling their banks or using another payment method like Paypal.
