I wouldn't mind seeing broader topics getting videos, but I think it may be something which is better suited for a side channel. I know it would be hard to prop up but this might be how to avoid displeasing hardcore Linux fans 😅

Not sure why you feel the need to do a survey on this with expected garbage data? You already have two tools to test out the waters on new topics: 1) Just throw a video on that topic into the mix and see how it does. 2) Pitch the video in one of the Patreon votes on upcoming episodes and see how it does. Unsure how those two are less useful here.
