Hey everyone :)
Here are the topics I'll cover in May, and some options you can vote on!
Linux News: as always, one per week, so 4 in May!
Tuxedo desktop review: I'll take a look at a smaller form factor desktop from Tuxedo, and see how suitable it can be for a gaming console running Linux
Slimbook Laptop review: I'll also have a review of an updated Slimbook laptop, the latest iteration of the KDE Slimbook
Cosmic Desktop Alpha: if it's not pushed back again, I'll have a chance to review that alpha, and see where Cosmic stands compared to GNOME or KDE
Now, for what you can vote on:
Linux kernel differences explained: there's the "regular" Linux kernel, and then there are some "modded" kernels, like Zen, Hardened, LTS kernels, low latency kernels, Xanmod kernels, and more, so why not explain what they are, and why you'd want one or the other
Community poll: the issues you're facing with Linux. I'll create another form, and this time give people more time to report on whether they have problems with their Linux use, what's not easy, what's not working, what's missing... This will also help me focus on creating some videos on solving these major problems.
KDE vs GNOME: not the usual "one is better, the other is worse", but more a look at the differences in philosophy, advantages, disadvantages, uses cases, and the like. The goal being to guide people towards something they'll enjoy, and know the possibilities and limits of each
My stance on AI: I talk about AI in the news videos regularly, but I never made a video about what I think (hint: it's more nuanced than you might think)
Vote on the ones you prefer, and I'll make the 2 videos that get the most votes!
