I cannot believe we're already at the last season! I also cannot believe HOW PREGNANT I looked haha. At the time I wasn't so aware, but right now I'm like, who the hell is this woman haha.

You're lucky Mary. We had to wait two years for the final season due to the pandemic. Bob Odenkirk and Rhea Seehorn hosted a Better Call Saul marathon leading to the the season premiere of the final season. I didn't notice the H.G Wells Tie Machine book there before. Thtat's something to remember later on. That's going to be brought up later. Hector can't stand the sight of Gus, let alone wanting to shake hands with him, so Hector all of sudden extending his hand to Gus? That's how Gus figured out Lalo is still alive. How does everyone have their phones on vibrate and can hear it? lol Oh look who's back, The Kettlemans aka Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

Indeed, that wait was torturous, and somehow the stuck in hotel situation in the last episode of season 5 felt kind of relevant to real life regarding covid "what about tomorrow? and the day after that?" We literally had to walk on eggshells for good while, then when it was close to over humanity went back to its old habits of war etc. Season 6 feels very oppressive/claustrophobic as it was filmed as soon as the vaccines were made available to all of the people plus we almost didn't get the last 5 episodes with Bob Odenkirk having a "small" heart attack while he was on bike, thankfully Rhea was near and defibrillators were readily available. Bob knew he had a small obstruction but wanted to get rid of it through training (for what he did in "Nobody", I believe that guy has a will of iron, almost 60 yet goes through so much to get back into shape. Fun fact, in the first episode as they show us the meds Saul takes,we only see one really, kinda like Walt, and it is something Bob is taking since 4-5 years for real, called Spironolactone. It's funny how the season 4 poster was made of shredded pieces of the cast and a missing part was Jimmy's heart, fitting for how he felt throughout the end of season 3 and all of season 4 and a metaphoric hint at the actor's own fear that he subtly told the audience about.

I find it weird that unlike most, you Mary doesn't find Lalo charming like so many other people including myself, despite his obvious crazy eye when he feels slighted. Maybe it'll come later ;) He's like the only Salamanca that doesn't seem to hate life. As for how Gus realized that Hector knew? Remember how he acted towards Gus when he was on his feet able to keep an organized crime syndicate in order, he always acted with hatred, especially since even if Eladio had Hector shoot Max in the head, Don Juan managed to enforce the idea of using Gus for the cartel in the United States southwest, see the scene at the beginning of One Minute in Breaking Bad and how he's literally training the twins, as sons, we never see his own son, he seemed to take care of his brothers and sisters offspring a lot though (likely because they died young), Leonel, Marco, Tuco, it seems like with Eduardo (Lalo), it is the same. The fact he looked at Gus all nicely with a warm smile and in his eyes, was enough for Gus. Hence the "LOOK AT ME HECTOR!" from Breaking Bad, if he would've, Gus would have kept his revenge minimal, but Hector would no longer look at him in the eyes...
