The Jedi who saved Grogu from Order 66 was played by Ahmed Best. He also played Jar Jar Binks in the prequels. This was a bit of a redemption arc from the criticism he originally received from fans saying the character ruined Star Wars.

I forgot Carl Weathers directed this episode. He did a great job. I want to see him direct a movie. The sound effects are perfect. Really fascinating. I feel they could alter Grogu's cooing a little bit to sound more alien, but that's just me. Not a big deal. The Jedi Kelleran Beq is played by the guy who was the voice of Jar Jar Binks. He received a lot of harassment for voicing the most hated Star Wars character ever. He opened up about how he almost took his own life because of the hate. This episode gave me Viking vibes not just because the kid's name is Ragnar, but mainly Bo-Katan leading the squad to rescue Ragnar, and she had the honor to sit by the fire. An actual discovery of a centuries old remains of a woman's revealed that not only did this woman fight in battle with the men, she may have led a squad into battle due to I think it was chess pieces and swords buried with her. I think also a horse head. In Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Bo-Katan had a sister name Satine Kryze, a former Dutchess of Mandalore. I love how Bo is starting to a line closer to The other Mandalorians creed after seeing the Mythosaur. Bo-Katan is starting to believe what she thought were kid's stories have truth to them. It really brings out my spirituals side. I want to get a Mythosaur tattoo, but not sure if I want to get the symbol or the creature.

Jack the Narrator

The vision that Grogu had was actually a flashback to what happened to him 30 years before he met the Mandalorian. The flashback takes place in the middle of the Order 66 massacre from "Revenge of the Sith" as the adult jedi were trying to protect the younglings from slaughter at the jedi temple. The jedi that Grogu escapes with isn't so important who he is as opposed to who he is played by: Ahmed Best, who played Jar-Jar Binks, the long (and unfairly) riidiculed character from the prequel trilogy. Many saw this appearance as a redemption of sorts toward the many years of hatred he received online that almost drove him to commit suicide IRL.
