Thank you Mary for doing this season, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I think you should absolutely continue with the series. It is an anthology series, so each season is stand alone with new cast and characters and a new narrative. With the exception of season 4 it is always set in a Minnesota town with secondary settings in North Dakota and South Dakota. I'm among those who think Season 2 is every bit as compelling as Season 1. It is the story of the events in Sioux Falls that Lou referred to several times. Season 3 is very compelling as well -- Season 4 is the only one that really drops off from the first three, and even that had some quality characters and moments. Season 5 still has two episodes to go, but I think it is up there with the first three. Don't know if it makes a difference to you Mary, but the "This is a true story..." disclaimer on the TV show and the original Coen Brothers movie is a fake-out. At most there are specific situations or scenes in episodes that are based on events that have occurred, but the characters and the narrative are completely fictional.

2024-01-13 21:13:29 Bob Odenkirk shot that around the time he appeared in season 2-3 of Breaking Bad as Saul, he was comic relief mostly in that show early on and same here. That guy is one hell of a late bloomer in drama, he's hilarious and a comedian, but now we with Better Call Saul and just this scene in episode 10, just how convincing he is at being a dramatic actor, still with some of his humor peppered in, I don't think he could play a character devoid of humor. Hell, I hope you watch Nobody, the movie he filmed which made the gap between season 4 and 5 so long originally (nothing compared to the gap between 5 and 6, 2 freakin years), but he's proven he can be an action actor and do his own stunts, all that by his late 50's, which is absolutely impressive. Bob Odenkirk is one of a kind, no wonder his brother Bill has been a very long time, I think back to season 8 writer/producer/other jobs for the Simpsons, Bob must finally think he stepped over his brother lol. Long way to say that it's about time Bob O. is given the recognition, there's nobody else like that hell of a man in both comedy and drama since 15 years.

Oh and can't wait for you to watch Season 2. There's another actor from Breaking Bad in there, I'll laugh so hard because it will be impossible for you not to recognize him, considering the feelings you had about that character lol.
