It's getting better and better with every episode. I'm glad I didn't read the books, and that I don't know how this all plays out.

LOVED this episode, and loved the actresses playing Young Rhaenyra and Lady Alicent especially. I agreed with you, Mary, about the scene between Daemon and his lady right after the Dragonstone confrontation over the egg with Rhaenyra; hoping there is some reason for that in there apart from just making clear that Daemon was lying. Apart from that, no other "meh"s from me in this one! So glad you're reacting to this :).

Intrigue is exactly the word I had in my head after seeing this episode. The first episode was like, "Ooo, this is going to be a good show, I think." This episode was "Oh, okay, I'm hooked now.

Mary, a 'Poacher' is someone hunting illegally. About Daemon, I'm not convinced he wants to be King. I think he just wants to the center of attention. Its like he lashes out emotionally and acts impulsively in a way that always brings the attention onto himself. However, he demonstrates that he actually does care about his brother and niece. I could be wrong, I just don't see him actually wanting the throne.
