Hi everyone, hope you're all having a great week so far!

This week you have seen Independence day and will expect True Detective season 1 and Edge of tomorrow!

My idea was to switch every season of Breaking Bad up with something else. BUT. I actually now think that's maybe not the best idea and I might do two seasons of breaking bad - one season something else - two seasons of breaking bad - etc. The problem is that right now I am not far along in Breaking bad season 2, while I am ready to upload True detective. So i'm really really really sorry if you're not happy about seeing less Breaking Bad right now, but it's a bit of a practical issue. Anyway I think you'll enjoy the True detective episode a lot too ^^ so after that we go back to Breaking Bad.

Today's poll are a few crime movies. It's no secret this is my favourite genre and I've seen more and more movies pop up that I'm super interested in. For me, I'd honestly want to watch all of these haha. So let's go!

The Departed is actually a remake of a Chinese film, Infernal Affairs. And like most remakes it's inferior to the original.

Been loving the reacts lately and fine with True Detective or Breaking Bad. I think True Detective is on so many peoples favorites you won't hear a ton of complaints if you release those.

Blake Robert

I was looking forward to BB tomorrow. Oh well.

Tyler Foster

It will be funny if The Green Mile wins the crime poll when it's not really a crime movie. :)

You really need to watch Rise Of The Plant Of The Apes. I have no doubt that you will highly enjoy it.

Travis

can’t go wrong honestly.

Bryan Tuck

Good selections, but some of them are pretty heavy. :) If you're ever in the mood for a crime comedy, you might really enjoy "Snatch." It's quite funny. :)

Andrew Roach

Green Mile it is but one could argue Memento could be the greatest movie to watch reactions to as it takes your mind and turns it inside out.

Absolutely second this. My second favorite trilogy ever I think.

Yes, Infernal Affairs is better than The Departed, no, I won't stop, and no, I'm not fun at parties.

Mari needs to watch the original 1968 "Planet of the Apes" film first before the "Rise" prequel trilogy! Why do y'all keep suggesting this like it doesn't matter which order ya watch 'em in? Cuz it DOES matter.

Anonymous

Infernal Affairs IS excellent but it's a couple hairs shy of the greatness of The Departed.

Dan

I'm shocked that American History X is getting neither votes nor appreciation in the comments. It's a rough movie but truly one that everyone should see once in their lives. It changed a lot of people, and the actors still have people approach them today saying that it saved them.

Fierce competition for second. Please repackage this “Internal Affairs” with a snappier title and have it be presented by Quentin Tarantino, so I can care enough to look for it. Thanks.

Though The Green Mile is winning by a mile(ba-dum-tss!), highly recommend reacting to The Departed as well. A Scorsese classic and sooo good! Also I remember you doing a Matt Damon poll, but have you already done a Leo Dicaprio poll? If not, that'd be great, although very tough.

John Courtright

I am so glad The Green Mile is winning. We've waited patiently for this one.
