Love this show, love your reaction. I wish more war stories were told as series rather than movies. Gives you much more of a perspective and the characters can develop more.

The sequel series the Pacific is much less known and followed but is just as good, will certainly have less familiarity which makes it interesting as well.

Also, glad to have shared my yearly watching of Band of Brothers with you this year. :) I've lost count as to how many times I've watched it through, but I can assure you that it doesn't lose much or any potency with successive views. You definitely should do the final episode which is the documentary "We Stand Alone Together" it is the best! Also Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg followed up 10 years later with "The Pacific" 10 episodes just Band of Brothers but it is a different group of guys who fought in the Pacific rather than Europe. It is really good also.

Finishing Band of Brothers is certainly bittersweet. Whelp, I guess you'll just have to watch Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003) now.

I enjoyed your reaction. B of B is my favorite series. I have watched it many times. The Pacific is decent but you can't really put it on the same level. Tom Hanks also produced a ten part series on the Space program called "From the Earth to the Moon." It is a great show!

Good stuff Mary. Would love to see you do ‘Arcane’. It’s fabulous. You don’t need to have played the game, or be super into animation, it stands up on its own. Only 9eps so far. IMO one of the best shows of any kind released in the last couple years. 🍻
