Hey hooow, this movie was so much more emotional than I anticipated. A lot of fun, but also a lot of depth to it, which I really appreciated. I really enjoyed this movie, hope you like the reaction too!

An interesting note that you may have not seen. All of the ravage captains who show up at the end to give Yondu the funeral are well known actors. Besides Stalone, you have Ving Rhames and Michelle Yeoh, both pretty well known actors.

As I mentioned in a couple of previous comment threads, I really don't like this one, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. At the very least, it does provide me an unexpected opportunity to mention Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, one of the movies I most hope you react to, because "Mr. Blue Sky" was famously used in the trailers -- the first place I ever heard the song. It doesn't make that much sense, because I don't think the song is actually IN the movie, but I associate it with the movie because of those trailers.

Also, that restaurant with "Grill and Chill" on the sign is a fast food chain called Dairy Queen, which is indeed a real American business. They serve burgers and chicken and stuff, but (as you might guess by the name) primarily sell ice cream cones, shakes, and other treats.

My favorite hidden cameo is the voice of the disembodied robot head when Stakar has the ravager reunion in the end credit scene. That's Miley Cyrus.
