The next pic of this month is the Duo Poll winner, Hawk & Tim (from Fellow Travelers).

I’ll hold my hands up and say I still haven’t finished watching this show, so I have some catching up to do, but I have seen enough to know that both of these guys are definitely lookers… 😏

As I mentioned earlier in the week, I was caught off guard a bit this week by an update to Clip Studio that I wasn’t aware of and along with that came a new simple mode layout, which seemed quite interesting to me - I’ve always wanted the features of Clip in a Procreate form-factor, so it has a lot of promise!!

Obviously, I told myself I’d wait until the end of the month to check it out, since I’m already busy enough this month. Equally obviously, I was completely unable to help myself and leapt into it partway through this pic!! 😅

I’ve actually found a lot of things about it that I’ve liked, but then had an issue where I very nearly lost everything I had worked on, so decided to move things back to Procreate to finish this one off.

I think some more research may be warranted, but it’s also supremely frustrating when you loose work you’ve invested hours in, and while I managed to avoid that this time, only losing a little bit that I had to repeat, it was scarily close to being worse.

So… watch this space. (Also, timelapses may look a bit stranger than usual, for obvious reasons).

Overall, I’m pretty happy with the end result I got on these guys. Even redoing some of it a couple of times, I’m still happier with the colouring than I sometimes am.

For you Beasts, there are also a few variants here, with alternate backgrounds, some different finishes, plus all the usual stuff of course (4K versions, timelapses, work files etc). 😉
