Forbidden Fruit - Beast Image (Patreon)

This month’s Beast image is my take on Adam & Lucifer from Hazbin Hotel!! 😇😈

February, being the awkward month it is, is notoriously difficult to work with when you have a schedule that really thrives with 4 full weeks, hence why this is being released today (as I’ll need the start of next week to work on the Solo winner once we have it).

This is also why I didn’t share WIPs for this one, as I honestly didn’t have the time to stop and make them!! (Though I did add some into the pack at the end because... well, I couldn’t help myself!! 😅)

I’ve already done my interpretation of Angel Dust at the start of the month, but I knew even then that I wasn’t finished with this franchise. 🤩

For anyone who’s not seen the show yet, a quick explanation of these two without going into any spoilers:

• Adam is an angel and is indeed that Adam… and he’s an absolute ass with a foul mouth who really embodies a holier-than-thou attitude!!
• Lucifer is a fallen angel and is, again, that Lucifer. He’s a short-king and a sweetie… most of the time. 😉

I’ve put a lot into this one, and it’s taken a lot out of me, but I’m definitely glad I took the time to do it, because these guys are such awesome characters and really deserve the spotlight. I also took some inspiration from a certain other character for the stained glass window in the background… 🐍😏

In the course of working on them, I had to shift myself over to CLIP Studio to add the chains and I was actually surprised to find a new UI I hadn’t seen before. I’m not sure just yet, but it looks like it may have some potential…

If you’ve been here for a while, you’ll probably know that I’ve jumped back and forth between Clip & Procreate quite a bit in my time, and last time I did, I was sure I was in Procreate for good, but I think some investigation is needed when I get the time to… but of course I’ll keep you posted on that one. 😄

There are a some variants in here of course, such as alternate backgrounds, colour variations (I’m quite partial to the red ones, myself), different finishes, some full shots of the main background itself (I really just wanted to show it off 😜) and of course there is also all the usual stuff (4K versions, work files, timelapses etc.).
