Quick Change On Michigan Avenue! (Patreon)

As a content creator, I sometimes AM the content. And the creator. The pictures you see don’t show my “gear”—the camera, tripod, and rolling suitcase with wardrobe changes in it!

I’ve gotten pretty good at making the “quick change.” Even in public!

I was doing some shots on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, and decided it was time to make a wardrobe change.

I was ready to get out of the white and do some shots in a gray hoodie. I looked around, and there seemed to be a lull in the foot traffic, so I decided to just do a quick change there on the street.

I located a recessed doorway, then got out the shirt I wanted to wear. Facing the doorway, I started the outfit change!

Quick and easy… Until I dropped the replacement shirt and that lake wind caught it!

I had to turn around and grab it before it blew away.

Otherwise, it was a routine "quick change." I put on the gray sweatshirt, the packed up my things.

I don't think anyone noticed my brief public flashing episode. But, later, there was this guy with a camera off in the distance taking pictures… Maybe I made a fan!
