Dawson had a little time in Paris before he and his team had to have everything ready for “Snow White’s” forthcoming visit there. He decided to take an afternoon off and visit Plage Naturiste du Saint-Selon. It was a quiet day, but that was fine; he needed to relax his brain and turn the page from his last assignment to his next.

As he sat on the beach, after a good, long, brain cleanse, he thought about the work to be done over the next few days. Something in his train of thought made him think of an old friend, an army Ranger named Laylana. She'd moved on to the CIA as an agent in their special operations group.

I think I'll call her up. 

Mostly he just wanted to call her, but he'd tell her about his assignment and, if the conversation moved in the right direction, he'd see if she knew anything she could tell him that would be helpful.
