❤️ I don’t know if you noticed but the bodies that were laying on the ground beside Ah-eum were her friends. So when she was possessed by Imugi she killed them… ————————————————————————————— I smiled when Imugi showed up on screen without realizing it😂 I can’t help it! It’s not my fault that he has a handsome face! Blame the people that cast him for the role😂 ————————————————————————————— The reason why he ended up killing her is because a nine tailed fox always have to repay a favour, he becomes indebted to that person. When Ah-eum saved him in the village he said that he would repay her kindness one day and this promise is the “ring” that showed up on their fingers. So for every debt there is a new “ring”, which is a symbol of the contract. He was about to sacrifice himself but Ah-eum didn’t want him to so she used the debt instead. Lee Yeon is seen struggling cause he is no longer acting on free will. His nature as a nine tailed fox is what’s forcing him to fulfil her wish. In previous episode we can see that he is actively trying to avoid situations where he would be indebted to someone. I think what happened with Ah-eum is a major reason for this, cause he is scared that the person will ask for something that he doesn’t want to do. ————————————————————————————— I think the flower/plant is called Chinese lanterns cause it resembles a traditional Chinese paper lantern (if you google it you’ll know what I mean). It also goes by other names and it does not only grow in China but all through out Asia and also Europe. It contains a fruit inside of the paper like shell and this fruit is edible. ————————————————————————————— You might have missed it but when Lee Yeon was driving to Lee Rang’s house they showed a flash back from the last episode. It was the scene where Lee Rang talked about how he wanted to go back to the old days and how he had forgotten the taste of the azalea flower they used to eat. Lee Yeon had gotten an azalea branch and brought it with him to give to Lee Rang. So when Lee Rang came back home and saw what Lee Yeon did he got emotional. It showed that Lee Yeon had listened to what he said and cared enough to actually get him the flower. I would also say that he got emotional cause he is fighting an inner war with himself. He cares for Lee Yeon but at the same time he is getting told to bring Lee Yeon to Imugi. He is torn and now seeing what Lee Yeon did for him it makes it even harder… ————————————————————————————— Fun fact: The name that Imugi used, Tae-ri, is the actors real name (Lee Tae-ri). ————————————————————————————— I forgot that so much happened in this episode!! We got the missing pieces of the back story and the main plot line developed so much! -Ah-eum/Imugi made Lee Yeon kill them. -Imugi want to take over Lee Yeon’s body and make Ji-ah his bride. -Lee Rang is dependant on the chinese lanterns to stay alive since he is only half fox. -Imugi has infiltrated the broadcasting team and gotten closer to Ji-ah (in proximity). -Ji-ah figured out that the CEO is the man behind her parents disappearance. -The friends are officially in the loop and now aware of the other side. -Lee Rang wants to break his contract with the CEO in an effort to save Lee Yeon and no longer be indebted to the evil side. -Lee Yeon now knows who Imugi is. The fact that there is 6 episodes left is crazy. I remember some stuff that is going to happen but I feel like I’ve also forgotten a lot of it😂 Can’t wait until the next reaction drops!!
