Now that I’ve caught up get ready for some kinda long comments from me too 😅 —— So the granny is based on a Korean mythological god of childbirth and fate (Samshin Halmeoni). In this version she holds a very high position in guarding and controlling the underworld the bridge between the living and afterlife. Her main job is to oversee people’s fates including when they die. But there are beings with higher authority than her including the king of the underworld/hell and she basically has to follow their orders. So like I don’t think she’s inherently evil, she just has bosses that tell her to do things and rules she must follow even though she might not agree with them. Like maybe that’s why she’s not telling Lee Yeon anything 🤷🏽‍♀️ and here she also says his obsession will lead to disaster so maybe she thinks telling him is not the best idea. I have seen this before these are some of my thoughts on her character when I was at this point watching the drama for the first time. Trying to give you some other things to think about without spoiling things (hopefully). —— “what is something that’s precious to you but has no value” “you set yourself up Kevin, YOU 🫵” LMAOOO y’all crack me up $500,000 is a large house in some parts of the USA Kevin! —— Also y’all seem to have missed the fact that the baby with the talismans/post its became how old after only a few days —— Yes I agree this scene with the dog is when I became an Lee rang apologist 😂 there’s no way he can be THAT bad if he protects dogs —— This show is such a good mix of each episode having different stories but still having an overall plot that ties everything together. —— And to think you wanted to drop kick the children last episode…tsk tsk shame on you Kevin 😂😂 —— Lee Dong Wook, Kim Bum (Lee Rang), and Jo Bo Ah (Ji Ah/Ah Eum) went as a guest on Amazing Saturday to promote the show! You should watch it as a bonus after you finish or something —— With the fox bead being hidden, it’s so sad to think that all of the people that he met that looked like her over the years could’ve actually been her reincarnation. And he missed all of those chances because he thought it wasn’t her. —— Also you don’t have to read this one on screen but Haikyuu is a pretty normal anime so I don’t think it’ll need a lot of explanations like the ones you’ve watched in the past. So if Andy can’t do it I hope you can still check it out. In the mean time I will continue to recommend Haikyuu in Ruby lol. It’s a show that takes place in a high school and revolves around volleyball.

(Saturday) Right now it 5:30 a.m and I’m sitting on a train on my way to Stockholm for the B.I concert😍 I can’t believe that it’s less than 12 hours until I get to see him!!! I’ll update you tomorrow how it was and it’s also then I’ll be able to watch the episode😊 ————————————————————————————— (Sunday) I’m on my way back home now so I’ll update on how the show was later, let’s just say that I’m exhausted, yesterday I was awake for a total of 22 hours😂 The post-concert depression hasn't hit yet but I'm sure it will as soon as I get back home. Edit: It did, like a fucking train😫 ————————————————————————————— (Monday) I finally have the time and energy to watch the episode but before we get to that I have to talk about the concert! If you think that the studio versions of his songs are good then his live performances will blow you away!! This man is a fucking GOD🔥 The atmosphere and vibe in the venue was through the roof!!! He is so nice and it is very clear that he loves his fans and performing. He had the biggest smile on his face whenever we would sing along or he looked out at the crowd. He tried to get eye contact with as many fans as he could. Every interaction he had with us, personal or not, was so sweet❤️ He is an amazing person, seems so down to earth and deserves the world!! During the soundcheck he would answer a lot of questions, take song requests and also sign all of our stuff (so not only did I get a picture with him, I also got his autograph😳). He wouldn't rush and took the time to have a conversation with us. You could see that he wanted to be there and that he liked getting to spend more personal time with fans. He would laugh with us and tried to make sure that we had the best experience ever😊 The actual concert was out of this world. Every song is a banger and he even performed unreleased songs. The setlist was amazing, he performed BTBT, Keep me up, One and only, Cosmos, illa illa, Flame and so much more. It was him, two dancers and then a dj called Millenium. They are all great friends and you could see that they have so much fun together. The funny thing is that the dancers and the dj have gotten their own fan bases during this tour (tho people knew who they were before the tour). It seems like everyone is equally as excited to see them as to seeing B.I😂 He went down to the barrier twice and tried to make sure that everyone got to see him up close. The trust he has in his fans is insane and to the point where he actually went into the crowd just to jump and party with us😂 He cares so much about his fans and he wanted to make sure that we were all okay, so as soon as he saw someone struggling he would stop and make sure that the person got help/water. Before he went into the crowd he said not to worry about him and to only make sure that we were okay🥺 This man!! Thinking about the fact that I’ve been so close to him, and I’m not talking about stage-crowd close but directly touching close, is insane (there was one person between me and the barrier)! He is someone I have looked at through a screen for like 7 years and now I have seen him in person. If it wasn’t for all the videos and photos I have, I would think it was a dream😂 Waking up at 4:30 a.m and queueing for like 9 hours (until the sound check, 13 hours until the actual concert started) was so worth it. The weather sucked and my feet/knees hurt soooo bad but as soon as I saw his face all the pain went away. At first I was nervous about going alone but I met so many people and we all had a great time together😊 This has become a new core memory for me and I just wanna say that if you ever get the chance to see him live TAKE IT!!! you will not regret it🥰 I’ll see if I can post something here on patreon under the member posts but if you or anyone else is interested I posted a lot on my twitter (@totalhemmings)😊 Sadly the videos are very grainy cause the quality would mess up when it uploaded, but you can still see him up close in all his glory! I have to stop rambling now otherwise I’ll continue forever😅 Let’s move on to the episode. ————————————————————————————— I would be so down to watch the vampire diaries with you Kevin!! That sounds like so much fun😊 ————————————————————————————— Speaking of horror movies, when the new reaction drops I will be in the movie theater watching the new exorcist movie😬 I’m going with a few coworkers but I’m starting to second guess my decision😂 I hate horror movies! Especially those with jump scares. It gives me so much anxiety… ————————————————————————————— Lee Rang couldn’t save his dog from getting hurt in the fire set by the humans back in the day, so as soon as he heard the puppy whimpering he went to the rescue. Give them hell!! I will never understand how people can hurt animals just for the “fun” of it… The same goes for people that hurt children… Fucking disgusting!! Last episode we all viewed them as creepy but when we find out what actually happened to them… my heart breaks. The scene when the dad finds out and the scene with Lee Rang and the puppy always makes me cry😢 Knowing that Lee Rang had to kill the puppy himself just to end the suffering is so sad… He loved that puppy and he didn’t want to do it so he cried out for Lee Yeon for help. But he had left… Lee Rang’s character is much deeper than what we first see and each episode reveals a new layer. And I totally agree with you, the drama has been relatively lighthearted so far, so for them to bring up serious topics like this brings that extra shock factor when they reveal what happened to the daughters and animal cruelty on full display… ————————————————————————————— Did you get it? she said that she lost her umbrella but in reality she left it on the bench so that they could walk together. ————————————————————————————— When David took out the tissue I thought he was about to wipe some tears but he was just blowing his nose😂 When are we gonna see you guys cry?? Is it just me behind the screen bawling my eyes out for every sad scene. ————————————————————————————— The funny think about the scene where they are trying to find similarities is that they went on the show Amazing Saturday to promote this drama. During the show they made a bet and the cast lost, so as a penalty they had to mention the show name, Amazing Saturday, during a scene😂 They incorporated it so well. ————————————————————————————— Did you reflect over how fast the kid grew up? Last episode he was an infant, not much time has passed and he is now like 10-12 years old. ————————————————————————————— The guy that Lee Yeon beat up for information is also the same man that saved Ji-ah from getting on the bus in the first episode. He was keeping her from getting on the bus and then made her carry him all the way to a tree where he just disappeared. Don’t know if you remember. ————————————————————————————— The CEO didn’t pay for them to go to a café😂 They were already on their way there when they met him in the lobby. He said that they were going to have a team dinner soon so it hasn’t happened yet. ————————————————————————————— Another great episode but this has been the saddest by far. We got a first kiss!!! Is this the fastest we’ve gotten a first kiss in all the dramas you’ve watched so far? I can’t remember. Can’t wait until the next one guys, I hope you have a great week❤️

You're so right with hidden fox bead theory. The fact that he could have had multiple lifetimes with her, but he didn't get to because he didnt "see" the bead is so sad. Especially considering how long he waited for her :(

I realized when you were reading my previous comment just how bad my grammar was and how insane it probably was to read over. I don't know what I was thinking when writing that. You're a real one for sticking it out for the whole comment David lol. ____ Anyways back to this episode, I don't have much to add to this episode so it will be a shorter commment. The only thing that I think you missed this episode was the fact that the baby from the last episode is now much older in a span of a few days. I would keep watching out for that. ____ Lee Rang and that dog scene was so satisfying. I wish we got to see the girl actually break their hands but I will just have to take the insinuations that she did do it and be satisfied. When I was growing up my famiy had a golden retriever that was taken by the neighborhood kids and killed. From how mad the adults were around me, it did not look like it was a peaceful death either. So it would have been so satisfying to watch the baseball players get the punishment they deserved. But it's okay i'll live lol (sorry for the trauma dump ) ___ The way I ran to google immediately to see if I mixed up the "desert" and "dessert" spelling. I did spell the appropriate "desert" in the comment but I almost had a heartattack when you guys were talking about it. Also, the russian wolf thing was on me. She is a fox and I have no idea why I said wolf, disregard everything I said about that. P.S. I guess I had a lot more to say than I thought. Why is the comment so long lol. Enjoy your weekend!

In the previous comment read, Kevin mentioned that incident of him hearing a whisper "Kevin" and chalked it up to it being maybe the Plate making some noise. Listening to that story reminded me of this odd story which 2 Seventeen members had mentioned. It's not similar but it's just sooo odd. So I wonder if you guys know about it? The S.coups Vernon Shoe story? I'll leave a link to a short 2min30sec video regarding them telling it which you can check it out later (https://youtu.be/bPuy2qUkVE4?si=c93oLkc7A243VHCv) but will also briefly mention it. So like during training days Vernon had ordered a pair of shoes and the delivery address was their dorm. When they were out for practice Vernon got the notification that it was delivered to the dorm. He was excited and once he was back he started looking for it in the dorm. He looked through the 1st floor/ground floor to the top 4th floor but he just couldn't find it. S.coups saw him frantically search and asked him what was up and Vernon told him. And Vernon says that he could see Coups start thinking and suddenly have a realisation after which Coups left. Once Coups was back, he came back with the parcel box. When Vernon asked how he knew where it was? And Coups said that he had a dream the day before. Coups says it was a horrifying dream so he won't go into details but in his dream, he was being chased in their dorm. He was running downstairs but felt that if he went to the 1st floor/ground floor and exited the dorm he would get caught. He didn't even know that their dorm house was a semi-basement house but in his dream, he went to the semi-basement and there was a storage room and he hid there. And sadly all the other members get captured in his dream. So now in real time when Vernon told him about the shoe he, that place came to his mind. So just went to the same place and it was a semi-basement and there was a storage room which they had no idea about before. The storage room had some cleaning supplies and all and a parcel box was in there. It was Vernon's shoe box which Coups then got and returned to Vernon. Idk what this incident was but gosh it's so odd. So I just thought to mention it. What do you both think? Did you know about this? -------------------- Coming back to the drama. This ep made me cry. Especially the dog scene, the flashback and the kid scene :'( Also, Ep5 (this ep) is the last ep I watched back in 2021. Going forward idk what will happen anymore haha. Oh and the Amazing Saturday scene. I am not gonna give a spoiler but the reason why it was mentioned has something to do with the Amazing Saturday episode in which Lee Dongwook, Kim Beom (the brother) and Jo Boah (female lead) had come to promote Tale of Nine Tailed. Do check it out later on if you get a chance!~ It was funnn! They had even later come to promote season 2. The first ep is Ep128 and the season 2 one is Ep262 which is the immediate next ep after the Seventeen one you watched. I don't think you remember but you saw Dongwook in the next episode preview and had gone like "Oh that's Dongwook" haha. --------------------- Sorry for the long comment again haha.

this episode was so much fun. It has a lot of light moments and also a normal day in the life of Lee Yeon, Lee Rang and Imugi. I finally gave up last week, and not only did i watched the nine tailed fox all episodes, i also watched nine tailed fox 1938. So i am not going to write much, to avoid spoil anything for you, Just one thing, I love the chemistry between the doctor and Lee Yeon and the foreign fox and Lee rang. You can see why Lee Rang is like this, he saw a son gave away his late father's watch for a newer expensive watch and then he saw those guys hitting the poor dog. If he had seen only people like them all his life how can he not hate humans and kill them.

I never knew about the seventeen story!! My family are a firm believer in dreams telling you things especially when someone you know is in danger/hurt. They always call or text if they have a nightmare just to check up on me and the rest of us. Like the episode where Ji ah, the other pd and the writer all had nightmares and it ended up that the writer’s mom died. And one of the bad dreams my sister is especially terrified of is the teeth falling out one. She will call all of us no matter the time if she has that dream. I don’t even remember what happened to make us start doing this or it’s just some old superstition but at this point it’s just second nature

Even when it's things like not having many friends 😂 We have arrived at my weekly Jo Boah simp moment SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Have you guys noticed her ear piercing? I think it's so pretty

Oh is it!? Oh wow. Is the teeth falling out one a bad one then? Also the seventeen one, really it could be that Cheol got that dream to look out for Vernon. But like the accuracy as to seeing a place he doesn't even knew off is just wow. It's such a unique case tbh.
