You keep forgeting about the age : K is 22, Heeseung is only 18 (he was considered as the strongest not the oldest) and Niki is 14 in this show... So 8 years younger than K. Heeseung is the oldest in ENHYPEN, not by far in this show (and is only 6 months older than Jay by the way) and even if Niki was wrong K wouldn't speak like that to a real kid, especially in japanese, by isolating him from, of the other members (they can hear and Jay actually speaks japanese too. Japanese speakers said that the traduction didn't show how harsh K's words were (Sorry for my english)

To this day the way K spoke to Ni-Ki this episode rubs me off the wrong way and ruined a lot of my opinion on him because that is not a way to speak to a child (and like 14 is still very young when you think of their maturity level compared to being even 15-16). Like the translation couldn't fully transfer how harsh he was (I speak Japanese) and his tone was even worse he was literally scoffing and chuckling a little while talking as if he was mocking him. Even if Ni-Ki was in the wrong (which I don't fully agree with bcs if you think of his ranking and ambition it's normal to be more individualistic), as a grown adult there are so many different ways he could've handle it. Like he took him a side, to an area without cameras so that the others wouldn't see or understand them. Jay knew some Japanese so he could definitely like understand a lot of it, but the way that he isolated him and made it seem like a problem between the 2 of them made me feel so uncomfortable. Like he already scolded him and Ni-ki understood, the whole closet situation was just him taking his frustrations out on him..

Yeah, in terms of all the Trainees there, Heeseung (2001) was like in the middle age wise and K was the oldest (1997), while Daniel was the youngest (2006).

This episode is the tale of 2x dramas: DNA (K & Ni-Ki) and Fake Love (Taki & team). So tense and awkward. K was very stern as the leader while Heeseung stood out as both an ace performer and sympathetic leader. Hanbin stood out for being a bright, positive and peaceful personality. Which could add balance to a team with strong personalities like K and Ni-Ki. He started to grow his fan base more here. I appreciated him in part 2 since he was ignored in Part 1. And next, David’s comment was spot-on when he said Sunoo is not only cute/does aeygo but he’s unapologetically himself, which audiences (including me) liked. Finally, the BTS choreographer was so frustrated because he had to pick trainees worthy to debut and he was not pleased with the 3x units work (especially Fake Love) because basic skills were lacking. DNA team was excellent but you can see by their disappointing score how high the expectations are for future members of ENHYPEN. While they were very good, I think they could have been great if the drama didn’t interfere with their team chemistry and they could have refined their stage expressions. Looking forward to Part 2.
