First, heyo! I've finally became your patreon too :D (It's Vicemir) Second, he-he, just to clear up for you guys, you'll get the "worst first impression" situation with Chanwoo after you watch Mix&Match where he joined YG :D Cuz in that time Team B was really not in the best state to welcome any other people (YG unexpectedly brought 3 new guys and said they would be fighting Junhoe, Yunhyeong and Donghyuk for the place in iKON), that's why most of them were protective of their brotherhood and didn't like or warmly greet Chanwoo (except for Bobby, he kinda offered the peace when they met, but B.I and Jinhwan were just staring in dislike outright xD)

lol love iKON mentioning Suhyun and Lee Hi here. i guess they miss them too 😅 and yeah, BI, June and Jinan was kinda scary when Chanwoo first met them in Mix&Match. Can’t wait for you both to watch that later. and love your reactions Kevin and David! you both are awesome 😎

I love seeing your confused faces, sooo cute! 😄 but seriously you reminded me of my own confusion when i watched this on vlive. I think this is why youre my fave reactors - your sincerity shows everytime. It may seem StarRoad is just a roast session but they will also play games later, hang in there guys. 😁

I haven’t watched all the eps for Star Road but mainly they will just talk about stuff and play. In the first ep and on this ep, they kinda played around and did a role-playing like students from “YG University” but incorporated their story in it. The first impressions that they mentioned were their actual first impressions of each other but they just did it playfully. It kinda worked for me coz it didn’t sound so boring to be just plainly following the script. And yeah, they’re the best at roasting each other. That’s why it’s so fun to watch them just talk coz you could see how strong of a bond they have and how comfortable they are with each other. I think DK easily gets fat that’s why they call him plumpy, but he seems to be managing his weight better now than before. Either way, he is still the epitome of duality. He snaps from cute to sexy hot in flash. It’s still a bit slow from the first few episodes but eventually when they start playing, it’ll be more fun.

By the way, “BANMAL” is the informal form of speaking in Korean culture. Before you start speaking to someone using Banmal, you talk to them in “JEONDEMAL” (jon-den-mal) first, which is the polite/formal type of speaking. When you get close or become friends, you can use Banmal, but you have to ask permission first if you can speak that way. It’s rude and disrespectful to use banmal right away without asking permission. Sometimes, there’s an exception when you are older and speaking to a younger person, you can start speaking banmal right away, but it usually depends. Basically, you have to speak formally first to every stranger that you meet. People of the same age or born within the same year are considered “friends” and they can use banmal but you still have to agree first if it’s okay. I think “most” of the boys in iKON speak informally to each other, but in Big Bang, SeungRi (maknae) still speak with honorifics to all the members.

The show is abit random but there are gold clips later on so keep on persisting. Since it's designed as an MT (membership training), they are trying to do the things that normal students do when they go on these trips. The first episode had them role playing as uni students at YG university and getting themselves to introduce themselves to replicate the "introductory" stages during the trip. It's pretty popular to then have small talk, and discuss about first impressions and stuff to get to know each other better on these trips. The next part is ghost stories. They usually do this around a campfire to make it scarier but because they're filming during the day, it's quite impossible. Haha. There are more successful ghost stories next episode, so looking forward to that :) It's a random series, but it's full of gold bits and pieces!

MT is like when different people in College/Uni get together in a camp or something to get to know each other. So, basically this is iKON's version of MT. They did a role play from ep. 1 where they made up what year and major thay're taking in YG university. Other than that, they are basically saying real things, so people get to know them better in a fun way. PS the next ep. is hilarious. I cant wait!!
