I commented on the youtube backup link for ep 3 instead, but just to repeat: Probably you guys know this but just wanted to share my thoughts...triggered by the mentioning of YG at the beginning LOL (of reaction to ep. 3) As someone who has been following YG Ent. for a long time, since long ago, YG Ent. has been very focused on music, and was known for having very talented artists (Gummy, Lexy, Wheesung, Big Mama, JinuSean, 1TYM, Se7en etc. - late 90's early 2000's). They also focused a lot on hip hop, when the rest of Korea kind of shunned the genre at the time. It was actually very amazing that 1TYM did well in the midst of HOT, Sechkies, and other musicians during that time. When YG announced a boy idol group (big bang), people were pretty skeptical, but also expectant at the same time. When Big Bang debuted, they did not hit it off right away. Until "Lies" they were criticized for their looks, etc (one of the reasons why YG is said to not look at visuals..LOL, that changed with Blackpink era). But soon Big Bang became really big, and then 2NE1 after them was huge as well. Big Bang became probably the one and only idol group that people acknowledged as "artists" not "idols" (which is huge respect/acknowledgement)-their music quality was the reason. Big Bang became the wannabe group for all future idols. They self-produced (like most YG artists), and that is when many other companies started training and wanting their idol groups to have at least one member that could make music. I really liked YG family and the family vibe they had; however after Big Bang's huge success, YG family became really big and they sold stocks... became what we now know as YG Entertainment ... things changed; it became more of a company rather than the "family" it was before (i know that the name was YG ent from the beginning, but just showing how I feel about the change...)... (on one hand Big Bang's success was a blessing and a curse for YG family) Many of the artist left the company because the focus was on the "idols"... and YG did not like to have two of its artists out at the same time (so that they wouldn't have to compete against each other... since most of the artists always did so well on the charts) so a lot of waiting for "their turn." But one thing to note is that YG ent puts a lot of emphasis on their music. Even Big Bang sometimes went on a hiatus for 2 years before making a comeback. If the music isn't ready, no comeback. For a massive group, I think that was ok, but for newer groups, not so much. Compared to other entertainment idol groups, the discography of YG groups is much less, but then quality of music (my thoughts) and the amount of hands on work the group members have in the music, much more. I'm not sure what is going on with Blackpink's discography, since their main producer is Teddy (1TYM's leader), but hopefully things will change... but who knows. I really want Lee Hi's comeback... sigh... I miss YG family days... oh well... still love the new generation though!! Still a YG stan... LOL. I guess I've seen how things have changed and not all decisions are made by YG (his brother is the actual CEO; and now they have shareholders to please)... so... yeah. Also, YG Ent is the best company in how they treat their artists based on payout percentage; and if we did not have YG, no Big Bang, no iKON, no Winner, no Blackpink, no etc. All in all, I'm not that bitter towards YG... he made mistakes... hope he learns.. whew that was long...

OMG exactly my thought at well. As a long term og YG stan, I alway feel trigger every time I read cmt on IG, especially with the newer fandom. Everyone is cursing at YG, screaming and demanding him to do what they want. Fandoms are fighting each other, fan only is overpower the fandom, like a lot of things that weren't happened back in the day. And all the drama with Treasure 13 because of "what the fan want". I glad that YG alway updated fans on his IG and website, but sometime, people can take advantage of it and took things way too far. I normally just stay silent, but on here there are not many ppl so I just have to say sth.

idk why YG i just feel some type of way. It's not even about the lack of comebacks, but about the favoritism. Though, the lack of comebacks does upset me a lot, especially with Blackpink. There's literally no excuse for the lack of comebacks, even the girls seem confused about it. It just makes no sense that a 3 year group has 9 songs out. That's literally baffling. They don't even write their music, so what are we waiting for? I just don't understand. No offense, i love blackpink, but let's be real -- their lyrics aren't exactly high quality poetry or anything so? You would think since they're so popular, he'd be pushing more music out, albums after albums, but there's literally nothing. And this isn't the first time. In my opinion, considering how long YG trainees have trained, it's such a waste that they don't even have a proper amount of comebacks to display their talents cause honestly, some of my favorite groups are from YG. People say it's cause 'they have quality music' but like...so do other companies like bighit and jyp and they manage to get comebacks after comebacks (more than some should...some companies have too many, some too little. No good balance tbh #letbtsrest). BUT with all this said, people don't realize YG isn't even actually in charge. He owns the company, but he's not the one always calling the shots. I still personally don't like his personality, that's my main issue. I find him rude and a bit creepy, but i also never met him so this is all based on what i've seen. He's called some of his artists ugly, he's blatantly playing favorites with his groups which is unprofessional, he fell in love with his wife when she was 14 and had her join the company then they dated when she was 18...i mean, he waited but overall, that was just creepy to me...considering he literally used his power to have her join his company and admitted he was attracted to her when she was underage. He literally said he purposely didn't pay attention to her group, which led her group to fail, because he didn't want her to 'catch on' that he liked her...Not only is that horrible for her, but wtf. Those poor other members were screwed over cause of his selfishness and creepiness. WOW I RANTED okay anyways, i love bling bling and it's one of my favorite songs they do love :)

I think all yg artists had their fair share (ironic to use fair in this sentence) of hardship from the company. Blinks been screaming unfair since yg was unable to give them a full album after all these years and it’s true, they have to wait for songs for soo long but I hope they won’t curse at teddy, he’s a legend and I think he won’t release a song unless he knows that it will be a hit. BP can’t (or not allowed based on yg’s post) to write songs, he said that bp and treasure will both be provided with songs which they will promote. Even the seniors had it tough, they were treated like beggars. Without the rest of BigBang seungri had to struggle on his own, yg told him that since he’s the great seungri he doesn’t really need back up dancers. So the backup dancers went to black pink’s concert while he was left I think with one. He just said in one of his concerts that he’s glad that the fans got his back Sandy from 2NE1 apologized to the crowd for a not so great performance because she hasn’t done it for soo long due to lack of projects involving her craft. Where is akmu and lee hi now? No comebacks from these two as well. Yg said that the lack of comebacks really depends on the group, since Winner and iKON are both groups who writes their own songs it will depend on them if they’ll have a comeback. It feels like they are blaming them after fans screamed unfair about the lack of comebacks. iKON had the most comebacks in 2018 but it wasn’t that easy either, the songs they’ve actually released were written 2-3yrs ago, and BI never stopped writing, even said that he’ll make sure all the songs he’ve written will be released before be dies. They were overseas for so long that a lot of their fans left them, they just gained their fans back in 2018 but people think that they were favored the most. Yg might’ve gave them a free reign on their career but it’s like letting them promote on their own. You see a few posts about when the song will be released and stuff but there’s a lot of activities that people don’t know about. Didn’t even congratulate iKON on all the awards they got in 2018, people don’t even know they have a show in austin. If you’re not an iKONIC then you won’t probably know that they have a collab with samsung in singapore, thailand and the phils. Didn’t even promote bobby’s collab with LOL. We just found out that this existed when bobby posted “ta da” the same day “Rise” was released. So yeah... nobody had it easy at yg. I just know iKON more so i posted more about them. More power to you guys and I’m good with other live performances in between the concert one. Thank you for feeding us with iKON goodness 🙏🏻

YG kind of blaming Teddy for why Blackpink doesn't have songs and comeback by saying that Teddy is in charge of Blackpink music. But the thing is we don't know what exactly is happening inside the company. For YG, waiting 1-2 years for a comeback is normal cuz it was like that back in the day too. However, I do agree that BP need more songs and more opportunities to shine so they don't seem "over-graded". I don't know YG personally so of course, I cant say that he is good or bad, but I don't know if that matter, cuz look at SM(no one care about the CEO), at the end of the day, it's business and there is a person incharge which happened to be YG.

I think YG Ent is growing too fast and thing got out of control. YG used to have 2 groups for a long time and then boom, 3 more group was added, + solo artists, Akmu, and now Treasure 13. It looks like they are lacking of employees. YG said they have 30+ producers but BP still have no song, I guess Teddy is the only one can produce for BP. Treasure 13 doesn't allow to produce their own music is a turn-off for me cuz it make YG loose their color, but I will still wait and support them. YG need to hire more ppl and do some research.

I'm finally done with my marathon on your previous iKON vids here.. and as always it was fun watching all your reactions to iKON. This live reaction to Bling Bling brought back the feels when iKON had their concert here in Philippines. They are beyond amazing live and during the concert day it felt like I spent all my energy for a week on just 1 day haha. I hope you get to see them as well in the future~ Love from Philippines! 😘💕💕

Agree with yg somewhat losing its color... yg artists are known to slay the stage because most of their artists know how to work it on their own, adding a little flavor. Now, yg seems to want to follow other ent groups’ footsteps, feeding them everything that they have to do. But I still have faith that once bp or treasure show them their producing skills then he will let them sing the music they want to. Their songs might be a hit but it’s different when you know that the artists you’re listening to sings the songs they are fully attached to because they went through it as they wrote it. That’s just me though, I stan song writers that’s why I fell for iKON. I always thought that kpop is generic where nobody knows how to sing live and acts on the stage as if they were singing covers from other artists, they are like robots. iKON made me change my mind and that’s why I stan iKON. I have massive respect to yg ent still, the home of performers esp the seniors though iKON just came at the right time for me.

Continue the concert please. .. by the time you get to one of the highlight points of the concert, you should have watched up to the relevant part of win episode so im looking forward to it. And don't apologise for stating what you feel at the time. Like anyone else here, we all have our own opinions and if it is glaringly obvious that the narrative was a bit too excessive, then it is so. As a non-fan watching WIN back then, I formed the opinion "Wow these teenagers are true performers" watching Team B have absolute fun and just owning the stage back then was a delight to see, plus the fact that they were fully self produced. And to each their own... what use is a performance if they aren't having fun? nor do they seem like they're enjoying it? So rather than the technicalities like vocals or dance, I really enjoyed watching Team B perform simply because it was enjoyable to watch. They'd just be like any other group in an overly-saturated kpop market right now. Also, the perception that YG favoured Team B over Team A and the continual narrative of Team A failing, crying etc only brought more hate towards Team B. I don't agree with the point that he "favoured" Team B when all we see is his reactions after their performances... him unconsciously smiling, him tearing up, him being surprised as he watches Team B's performance. Is that a measure of who he favours or is it moreso a measure of how impressive Team B was in each performance? The only fault Team B ever did was continually improving themselves and striving to do their best throughout this show that had a set winner (no pun intended lol). The comments about YG definitely not breaking up Team B are completely unfounded especially if you didn't follow Team B back then because fans and the iKON members were very desperate. After this type of exposure, it is so easy for individual members to become recruited into other agencies with a definite promise of debut. Each week there'd be a rumour that Hanbin was recruited into another agency or that someone left ... it wasn't fun and games, and never was it a certainty that we'd ever see Team B again. DK mentioned in an interview after debut everything was uncertain after their loss, but B.I told them this: That they will debut together, all 6 of them. And B.I, even now, still continues to do everything in his power to protect the members he vowed to protect back then. And it was for this reason that Hanbin started producing songs seriously. Because /spoiler/ like he revealed in Mix and Match: "It was the only way he could protect his team. To write good songs for them" to increase their chances of debut - he was only 17 years old.

About his relationship with his wife (which you really don’t have to mention since it’s his private life and has nothing to do with the artists you like): “The Sabatoge 1. According to YG, they started dating in 2001. According to the only date I could find about this group, they debut in 2002, a while after they were together. 2. The group didn't disband because of him, the group disbanded because one member went to America and the other had family issues. The only member who was able to stay was Lee Eun Ju, his future wife 3. After the group broke up, YG gave her some collabrations, so she did do some work. She was going to debut solo but he changed plans and just gave her some stuff, here and there. 4. YG manged this group the same way, he manges most of his groups today. To say, YG did that just to get to her means he does this to everyone. The Predatory 1. YG said he liked her when she was in high school on TV, he later met her agian and recruited her to join the company when she was 16. He also said he struggled with telling and didnt want her to know how he felt. In other words, he didnt do anything until 2001, she was legal age in America and just becoming legal in Korea. 2. YG said he confessed to her over the phone and then they started dating. He said she had no clue that he felt that way. Obviously, he didn't do anything to indicate such. 3. The definition of a sexual predator is someone who hunts down underage girls like prey. Thats why they are called predators. YG did nothing of the sort, he didn't do anything 4. YG didn't do anything so I don't think we can say we groomed her either. The Wrap up Honestly, this was YG's first girl group. He could have invested more into them but without good direction, they would have failed. If Yg had anything to do with this group's demise. It's more shitty management and bad luck of events than sabatoge. Yang Hyun Suk's an asshole. BUt there is a huge jump from that to a monster like a predator. She willingly joined the company, she willingly dated him for 9 years, she willingly married him, she willingly had kids with him and she has willingly satyed married to him for 6 years when she could have said no to all of it and the worst that would happen is what happens to all of YG female artists. They get replaced by the rookies and leave the company quietly without any fuss from YG. In other words he would have let her go“ These aren’t my words (I copied them from somewhere else) but it’s exactly what I want to say. I get that you don’t like him (or hate him) like many others do but bringing in his family into this fans vs. YG mess is uncalled for. He didn’t do anything illegal (the age difference is not that big of a deal honestly 🙄 and I doubt her brother would’ve let them date for 9 years if he were a pedophile cause Jae Jin (Sechs Kies member and her older brother) actually has a short fuse) nor did he purposely ruin her group (YG always has bad management with female artists and you have to look at the video and see how he actually responded to that accusation since it was in a variety show)

So even if they did eventually disband for those reasons, he still sabotaged them on PURPOSE and that's the problem. And it doesn't really matter if he waited, he was still attracted to her when she was 16, knowing her age, and it's /personally/ creepy to me.
