Captain's Call #4 Second Destination (Patreon)

Story update!

Captain Calamity braced her bootheels atop Rania's ruined canon, and took stock of the battle's aftermath.

Through the temple grounds' power, Eva had both cleansed Rania and granted herself a significant boon - a fact she had the bountiful curves and muscular tightness to prove. Even so, there had been some of that blessed power left over, so Calamity had bottled it up as a sort of motoplasm wine, for future consumption.

As for Rania herself, the crew's most physically powerful member had been saved, at a cost. Before she'd been truly giant, big enough to carry her iconic cannon one-handed and produce 10 gallons of milk a day - but after losing a full 20 years of age, she'd shrunk down to the captain's far lesser height and weight. Her curves, shrunken; her deliberately planned wrinkles, absent. While still formidable, Rania wasn't the powerhouse she'd used to be.

She was not pleased.

On the other hand, Shiba was beside  herself. She and Rania had been rivals in their so-called 'cougar hunts', but in her rejuvenated state, the jinn found herself susceptible to the Kasheen's thick, mature body's appeal. If not for Pink Calamity levying threats at Shiba, she would have lured Rania off to the Kasheen village right then and there! Shiba still laughed, and planted a seductive kiss on Rania's cheek - before vanishing in a puff of arcane smoke.

Lastly, Vixy. The motomancer's skin tone and motoplasm clothing had lost their usual vibrancy. Vixy insisted this was simply because she'd been over-exposed to the corrupted motoplasm near the tower, and that it was nothing to worry about.

The captain was worried.

But there was no time to argue with her. With the revelation that Rania had been alive but corrupted the entire time, Pink Calamity didn't want to risk leaving the rest of her crew in that state any longer than she had to!

The only question was, where were they headed to next?

With a crew mate rescued, the Marauding Marids continue on their journey to save the others.
