Maybe it's all the anime and my love of the movie the blob' but I would enjoy slimes. Lol

I picked elementals. I've seen multiple stories where the MC was a kobold (including one where he wants to evolve into a dragon). And I want to say I've seen some stories starting as slimes. So elementals seem different.

Slimes have the most potential but it’s been done recently. Elementals is good path.
