September Update (but it's really August 31) (Patreon)

Oooh had to write this since tomorrow is going to be insane with Forbidden Zone, the penultimate book of the System Apocalypse. NOT the final, but the book before the final. I truly am not sure how good it is. It's one of those books that at the end of writing... well... I just don't know.
I hope it's good, but I won't be surprised if people feel it's gone too long and I should have wrapped it up in book 11 instead of doing 12. Yet... I have an idea of what 12 needs to do, and I don't think I could have done it in one book.
Anyway. 1 more to write.
Talking about writing and the reason I'm writing this now...
I FINISHED THE DRAFT OF BOOK 6 of A THOUSAND LI! Second Storm is DONE.
There's a bunch of things I need to fix. I forgot a few things, need to clean up some foreshadowing and I'm not sure I held some plot threads all the way through, but I think it is mostly okay. It's 94.5k words right now, at least a couple thousand more to add including a few scenes I want to thread through.
Including a scene or two that wasn't written before.
But I'll get to it later.
Right now, I'm going to tackle the rest of the edits for Book 1 of System Apocalypse: Australia. KT Hanna has gotten it to me, so I'm the one holding up the book now. The goal is to get it edited by the 10th so we can get it to the editors by the 15th or so. Basically, for a publishing date of Nov 1, 2021.
And then, we'll have book 2 out a few months later.
Andrea Parsneau has agreed to record the book, so that'll be all kinds of cool. And like (and unlike) Relentless, Australia is going to thread whole new ground; not only with the new continent but also with the way the protagonist handles the world.
I'm really excited to see how people take to it.
Talking of Relentless... holy crap! You guys like it. It's doing incredibly well, so much so that poor Craig is staggered by how well it has done. I am too, but wow. Thank you, all of you, for reading and supporting our work.
Beyond that, translations continue apace. We have hired new staff, training them is draining me. I'm now settled in, sort of, in Toronto so I need to update all my data to say I'm no longer living in the Yukon.
Ummm.... that's about it. Feeling a bit exhausted and burnt out with the move, writing, editing, hiring, etc but finishing the book has been a big relief.
Onwards with more words!
