Nearly there... (Writing Update) (Patreon)

So. Good news. Bad news.

Good news.

- I'm at around 75k words. The big fight scene at the end is my next 'big' scene. Then the after effects (which will be important) is another chapter and scene.

- there might be one more epoilogue scene after that.

So... maybe another 7-8k words. Maybe 10. Not a huge book which surprised me. But I know I'll likely want to stick a few scenes in in-between. I need to put the book down after I've finished writing it to give my brain some time but I think the pacing of the book is a little off. I might have to add a few scenes in towards the last 1/3 to make sure pacing 'works'. But i'm a little too deep in the weeds to see it right now.

AoB 5 came out on audiobook. SA book 5 should release anytime soon. I literally sent it in 2 days after AoB 5 but it's been 3 days later and still nothing. *sighs* ACX sucks.

I'm also expanding distribution of 3 of my audiobooks for AoB to wide (i.e. not just Apple & Audible). I'm testing to see if I can make money that way. Sales have dropped so much, it makes some sense to me to try it that way.

Bad News

Because writing has taken longer than I expected, I do not expect to finish this book (with break and editing) before April 17. That means there's no way we're going to hit May 1 release.  I'm looking at a June 1 release. 

Though you guys will get the book well before anyone else. :)

Be on the lookout. I'm going to throw up a little poll to get everyone's opinion on the next book I'm going to write after this one is done. Note that it's not going to include SA book 8 because I need to finish SA book 7 first. Obviously. :)
