Amusing thoughts on the English Language (Patreon)

There's a giant discussion going on in one of the FB groups about the usage of a word and whether it was colloquial, correct in certain circumstances or just plain wrong.

I haven't commented on it and I won't. Mostly because I'm lucky to be able to string a sentence together that is grammatically correct. I constantly rely on spellcheckers to fix my spelling and worse (worst?) have certain word foibles.

Part of that is because I never learnt proper grammar. The joy of South East Asia education. And partly because I've lived in so many countries, I slip between British, Canadian and American spelling and terminology without thinking. 

So, yeah. Long discussions about grammar and proper use of language is something I avoid. But enjoy watching.
