Hey everyone,

As with my last post, I don't want to jinx myself by once again throwing out dates and deadlines, but I have written out a schedule for myself that (if I was realistic), puts me in the last week of work on Dogtooth and a private (Patreon exclusive) release can happen as soon as I am happy with it.

The biggest last hurdle is one particular shot that I very much underestimated - a 34 second shot - I have dubbed "The Big Lad". I thought with it being mostly dialogue, it wouldn't be too hard to animate, but The Big Lad is proving to be a real killer. I've made entire cartoons with fewer frames of animation. See the first few seconds of it above, which also doubles as a great visual indicator of my current energy level.

So indebted to you all for your epic patience with me on this project. I promise that after this project is wrapped I will deliver shorter, punchier pieces of entertainment with faster turnarounds than this one.

Speak again soon.

Your work is always wonderful, Harry. We're willing to wait for it! No need to apologize. :)

I'm personally offended. That you apologised.

If they were sleeping, or scratching their arse for 34 seconds THEN we're talking. ;-P

I think I can say that we all appreciate your concern for providing us with content, but it's beyond understandable that your work takes time. Try the best you can to go at your own comfortable pace, I know when it's done and ready to show it'll be amazing. Thanks for the update and hope you're doing well!

Looks so good. Hope you get the time for a well-deserved break once the cartoon goes live.

The one thing I say in situations like this... being a minimum wage service industry guy who routinely looks that worn down, I should note, so from experience... is that if people can't be patient they don't deserve your best lol. And since you're delivering your best, we're fine being patient, I figure! AND of course, there's always the obligatory 'Don't grind yourself down too far'. We always find that one snare in a project that hangs up the whole thing. 'Nothing goes entirely to plan, that's what human brains are for... finding solutions when the road map is wrong', to quote an old friend of mine.

honestly still not the longest i've waited on something from you.

Still looking forward to seeing the full completed product. Take as much time as you need on it, Harry. Then take a well-earned break. I feel like you work about as hard on these cartoons as Masahiro Sakurai does on Smash Bros.
