Here is a brand-new fully edited and narrated episode of ShotBlast exclusive to Patreon supporters (for the time being).

While the world outside is going to hell, 2020 will be the year of new Harry content. I've had a lot of help from supporter and editor Gregor Scott (https://www.youtube.com/user/Gridlock500s ) on this video, and I'll also be producing a lot more behind-the-scenes content over April. Thanks for your support!

DwarfDaddy

Not gonna lie I thought ShotBlast was the name of the alien ninja barbarian babe...that’s a phrase I wish I said more.

Jacob Tucker

I can see this shot applied to an episode of Starbarians. Like, maybe Killgar is watching this on TV, or something. Great work as always, Harry.

Would you consider releasing it on your youtube channel to garner more attention from people? It may convince them to join your patreon.

What is really amazing to me is how you are able to go from rough keys/extremes straight to clean-ups and stay in the clean area for breakdowns and inbetweens! If i don‘t do another tie down pass before cleaning up my volumes tend to wander even worse than they already are.... that‘s probably my biggest weakness still... But iit‘s really impressive to see your process. Do you just go straight ahead on your drawings after being done with the keys? Really cool sequence :)

harrypartridge

Yeah that's pretty much what I do. I will still draw roughs for breakdowns if I need to (usually when the movement is broad). It may not be the best approach for quality - but it's a choice made for SPEED :)

Derpixon

This was very informative and inspiring! I loved the concise editing as well. I really like watching these process videos that include helpful commentary, hopefully you would do more of these in the future! And I'm just gonna repeat what Joel Mayer said but that skip from rough keyframes to cleanups is a very high-tier move. Hope you're doing well especially during these times Harry, Cheers!

harrypartridge

Thank you, Derpixon! Really nice to see you here!! I'm very glad you enjoyed this. We absolutely are going to do more as I think we now have a formula that is easy enough to continue. Going to try another episode in just a few days :)

Lucky Knight

Absolutely amazing! Really good watch and wondered if she was a long lost love or fling or adversary of Killgar :P

Trevor Bond

Nice, a classic Harry babe in action! I laughed so hard at the unexpected Rocky joke I had to pause the vid lol. And while I'm not an artist, I do like these videos and especially learning some tricks I can mention to friends of mine. Like using two programs and being able to salvage from one if you goof on the other... a good unintentional lesson there! Keep it up, looking forward to more Shotblast!

Thanks so much, Trevor! I have another show idea I'm working on that is less art focused that you may prefer. Coming soon :)

Wow - when you're watching a finished HP cartoon, it's hard to keep in perspective the insane amount of work that you put into every single shot - this helped though! Looking forward to more to come in the future.

harrypartridge

Thanks, Harry. Good to hear from you again. Now that we have an easy enough formula for making an episode of ShotBlast in the future, there will definitely be more to come. And in a few days - another patreon exclusive video - the first episode of "Cartoon Buffoon". Speak soon :)
