Hey guys!!

Here is a new speedpaint video FOR ALL PATRONS to usher in the creation of a new $5+ Speedpaint/Tutorial video reward.

Sorry it's been a few days since the last update, I made a small post on the announcement thread of our discord as to why I was gone, but I am back working and will be LIVESTREAMING and creating some in-depth ANIMATION WORKFLOW videos ($2+ reward tier) over the next few days. Got lots to share with you all!

Always great to see your process Harry and the finished image looks awesome too! My god, Dragonball Z was something I watched religiously as a kid and you got it looking super nice! :)

Thank you, Jade! I watched it a lot too but a lot of the art style didn't really sink in, definitely needed reference :)

Wonderful work in both your design process as well as the finished product Harry! It's definitely interesting to see how you have everything down to a formulaic system from the rough sketching to the hashing out of the shades all the way to colors and highlights. Is this something you've always done or just a technique you've built from your years of drawing the many frames of animation? I daresay you've captured the Toriyama style very well, even if relying on reference images! Thanks a bunch for sharing, would definitely love to see more in the future!

Hey, thanks for the kind comment, Zachary! There will definitely be more like this in the future. As for my system of drawing something like this, it's not particularly creative or artistic, more built for speed rather than anything else. I've done enough commissions over the years that this process sort of came about naturally and it works well enough for now. Thanks again :)

Nice work! I'm not gonna pretend I have much artistic mastery and all, but I will note this did turn out quite nice and I definitely dig that tip about not making things pure black. I have seen a LOT of people screw that one up before! It always impresses me to see your work and how it comes about.

Thanks Trevor! Another video coming later today showing the entire workflow for an animated shot (minus background). Thanks again for everything :)
