I'm a little late with the next build.
Management
Probably cause I under estimated the amount of work. But trust me it worth it! Basically I'm redoing all the employee management system. It's cleaner, obviously, but I'm also adding new fresh features:
- The player can customize the employee's hourly schedule (done)
- It's possible to set a specific hourly wage per employee (done)
- I'll add a basic inventory system to improve the equipment, the tools
- The employee can level up, yeaah (done)
- I'm not quite sure how but the employee will ask for Vacations
- I'd like the employees to unionize but that's probably irrelevant to the game
- The employee will become tired and will need to rest (ongoing)
Recruiting
I also need a new page to recruit employees, something easier than my previous mail system. That was creative, I liked it, but it was also tedious to use for me. Maybe an update version? Pffff we'll see
Your thoughts on inclusivity?
These are just bare thoughts but I got an idea and I kinda like it. I'm gonna add different clients, some mobility or visually impaired, some neurodivergent or just too old and weak, etc. The idea will be to force the player to develop a more inclusive club, and add new game mechanisms in that direction.
For some I already know how to do it. For the others, it's gonna be more complicated. But I'm sure it could be a great addition to the game loop, and it's very positive!
What are you thoughts about it?
