I agree it made sense for this episode to be less happy given the loss The Doctor had gone through. Though it was fun to watch the internal struggle he had not to help or bring on a new companion. The scene where he gave her the key and then the governess snatched her up still shocked me and this is my 10+ time rewatching. I was not too pleased with the kiss. I love River Song and I was like hold on ma'am, you don't know, so I ain't mad ... but ... he is married. Anyways enjoy the mystery of who is Clara Oswin Oswald.

Clara, she's so great, funny, charming and a genius, wow, we should probably bring... oh, wait, she's going to die isn't... wait, I feel like I've said this before...wait, is this mostly a copy and paste of my previous comment. But seriously though, I look forward to the mystery of Clara Oswin Oswald and I was looking forward to this episode, to see your reaction when you saw her again. This was a really good episode as well, it had some great use of words, like Clara's choice of Pond, but I also love, when Madame Vastra is explaining her one word choice, because "lies are words, words, and words" then she goes on to explain that the Doctor doesn't help anyone, that he thinks he's above everyone and she asks Clara what she thinks of everything she's said about the Doctor and Clara says "Words", I think that was great, along with "Run you clever boy and remember". I also love the return of Madame Vastra, Jenny and Strax because I really liked them in A Good Man Goes to War and I did watch the Minisode's The Battle of Demon's Run: Two Days Later and the one that aired before this episode, Vastra Investigates. Great reaction to this and the Minisode P.S., which was really great with a nice emotional punch... Brian met his grandson. Great reaction, I look forward to the next one.
