After the attack on Lalo's compound, once he had killed all the mercenaries after getting the last one to report the mission was successful, Lalo went to the home of a local couple. From the conversation, Lalo seems to be a personal benefactor to them, providing the woman with goats from her old village in the mountains and paying for the man's dental work. He comments on the man's bushy beard, causing the wife to tell him to go shave, and Lalo tells him to leave the mustache and soul patch. And then he kills them both. The man has a similar build and height to Lalo, he now has the same facial hair, and his teeth undoubtedly match Lalo's dental records.
