I think we're allowed to say that the whole Jacqueline character and story was dated and problematic in the greater culture about two months after this was released. It's weird because this show is one of the last of the shock, anything goes humor of the 2000s and early 2010s. I think it's best to just call it out and then roll with it. Titus and Carol Kane's relationship may be an acquired taste. But the wrong Boyz II Men song at the funeral gets me every time because I honestly didn't notice until the refrain, just like the characters.
