Great reaction! I haven't re-watched these episodes in a long time and it's way more fun watching with you two. Great episode, I think Amy really got a great chance to show her quality as a Doctor Who companion. I think the Doctor was really impressed with her by the end of this one. And I love Matt Smith in his episode. He's the youngest actor to ever play the Doctor (he was only 28 here), but he just has this "old man" energy. He really makes it easy to believe that the Doctor is over 900 years old and has seen everything. He's deeply silly, but when he gets angry it gets scary real fast. And in those quiet moments, when he's just standing there quietly, you can just tell that there's a lot going on in his mind. He does such a good job of having that goofy exterior rest on top of this deep melancholy and introspection. He's doing such good work here. Ok I'll stop now, sorry I just love him so much :)
