To start- THERE ARE NO CHANGES BEING MADE TO ANY OF STANDARD TIERS - so no stresses or worries there :D

Here is the full video of all the changes:

For those that prefer to read the updates- I'll provide the outline below :)

Updates Coming

1. Adjustments to Executive Producer Tiers

These changes will not be applied until May. All currently voted in EPs are locked in at the rates they pledged for.

Now that we have fully vetted an editor- we will be outsourcing all of our EP edits to our editor. Based on his costs, we're adjusting the EP tiers to accommodate those costs and to ensure it still makes sense for us to commit the time to.

New rates:

30 minutes or less: $25

31 minutes-60 minutes: $35

61 minutes- 105 minutes: $45

106 minutes- 150 minutes: $60

151 minutes- 195 minutes: $80

When filling out the form for interest- you will select the time range of your intended sponsored content- you will then pledge at that amount (Tiers will be made next month).

We understand this is likely not going to fit in everyone's budget but in order to be able to continue to offer in a way that makes fiscal sense and in which we have time to do it- this is the solution.

Those interested in being an EP for May - can fill out the form below:

We will post this again in April too so no rush!

2. Start date for New Month

Going forward, the first date we will begin posting regular content again will be on the 3rd of each month. This gives me the time to prepare and post all the polls on the 1st and then spend the time adding and removing patrons once billing settles which is usually on the 2nd.

3. Total Reactions Daily

Going forward, we will be capping the total amount of reactions daily (this is for the regular schedule - not for the EP Drop at the end of the month) to 2 reactions daily. Whether this is a movie and a show or two shows - it will be capped at 2. So this will likely push back those shows in the slower rotation categories.

4. Management of Slower Rotation Category

Going forward, once a show has been dropped down into the slower rotation category- and it not voted back up after two pulse tests- RJ and I will remove it from rotation and replace it with a new show or another show we want to get back to in order to avoid an overextended period of time reacting to a show that doesn't get voted back in.

5. Movie Tier Polls

Going forward, only those Patrons at the movies tiers and up with be able to vote in the movie polls. This includes the $4 tiers and up! This seemed pretty obvious after I got a DM this week- haha- so thank you again to that anonymous patron!

6. New Tiers

a) Real Talk Critic - $15

For those who've message that they'd like to be able to get a shoutout even on the months they aren't pledge as an EP- here's that clout :) Your comments will be featured in our reactions and you'll be given the title of "Real Talk Critic".

b) Most Valuable Producer Tier | Show $75 or Movie $100

This bypasses the need to be voted in for the month as an EP. Your sponsorship will be reacted to first and posted upon completion of the edit. This tier will be by request only.

c) Chat with RTR | 30 min Zoom $150

Those interested in collaborating, consulting with, or just wanting to have a more direct conversation with RJ & I- the options now available. This will be by request only and once locked in - we'll send a Calendly link.

7. June & July

We'll be traveling in June- to Washington State and and July- to Germany- so we'll keep everyone posted on any changes in the schedule for those months as the dates get closer.

Thanks so much again for all the input, suggestions, and recommendations we've been provided with!

And thanks so much for the continued support!

If you have any questions or need anything clarified- send us a DM with those!

Lots of Love!

Lot's of exciting changes coming, but you guys broke it down so well! I do have a couple of questions about the MVP tier (specifically for shows). Does "by request only" just mean we need to DM you to ask if there are any slots available for the upcoming month? And do you get to keep that tier month after month, or is it a new request each month?

E. Kensington

I’m glad you took some of my suggestions :) like the shout out tier. I’ll definitely be using those when I can’t afford a super tier or get voted in. I also appreciate the pricing for the length of shows. Just to make sure, I will be charged for Handmaids Tale at $25 even though it’s over half an hour, right? Just want to double check. By movie tier, if we typically are either an EP or pay the $10 when we don’t get chosen, nothing changes about voting, right? Another suggestion I might make for the future is to make a particular day of the week for the movie reactions (like if three movies, the last three Mondays (for example) could be movie Mondays or Film Fridays) Anyway, fully supporting the two of you and the future of this channel. I just wanted to ask these “dumb blond” questions to make sure Also, since you tend to lock in (or try to lock in) the EP requests when EPS get chosen if a movie gets voted in and because the EPS first choice movie was shorter than their second choice movie, do they then pay the additional money since the first choice got voted in? Will it be removed from the polling?

Sorry I posted so much last night. Like always I had a lot of thoughts

REALTALKREACTIONS

Thanks so much SeeJay- I practiced it a few times ..lol...so that means a lot! :) So for your question- yes request only just means to DM us. Until we know how many people are attracted and want to register at the tier- we want to be able to monitor that more closely to avoid being overwhelmed. For that same reason- we'd want to apply that to future months as well. But once we know what the analytics are- you'll likely be able to lock that in then on an ongoing base. Let me know if that answers your question!

REALTALKREACTIONS

Hey E - want to make sure I respond to each portion of your message so will break up my responses to make it easier :) I’m glad you took some of my suggestions :) like the shout out tier. I’ll definitely be using those when I can’t afford a super tier or get voted in. - Great idea- thanks again! Just to make sure, I will be charged for Handmaids Tale at $25 even though it’s over half an hour, right? Just want to double check. - For your sponsorship for April- rates are still the same. These changes don't go into effect until May. By movie tier, if we typically are either an EP or pay the $10 when we don’t get chosen, nothing changes about voting, right? - Anyone in a tier $4 or higher are considered a movie tier and would be able to vote in the movie polls. Another suggestion I might make for the future is to make a particular day of the week for the movie reactions (like if three movies, the last three Mondays (for example) could be movie Mondays or Film Fridays) - Good idea! I try and pick the last few Fridays/Mondays of the month to give us time to react to it but could consider that. Anyway, fully supporting the two of you and the future of this channel. I just wanted to ask these “dumb blond” questions to make sure - All great questions and we appreciate the continued support! Also, since you tend to lock in (or try to lock in) the EP requests when EPS get chosen if a movie gets voted in and because the EPS first choice movie was shorter than their second choice movie, do they then pay the additional money since the first choice got voted in? Will it be removed from the polling? - Struggled a little bit to follow this one. Are you asking if you had an EP movie in mind- Let's say The Whale, but it gets voted in by the popular vote. So you have a second movie in mind- which is shorter than that one- how do we handle tthe billing? If so- I would just recommend waiting to adjust your pledge until you can see how the movie is tracking on the poll- its pretty obvious most months which one will win. And then adjust your pledge based on that. Let me know if that was what you were asking!

E. Kensington

Yes. Exactly what I was asking :) I don’t tend to do movies but for example, a South Park TV movie is about sixty minutes but Titanic is three hours so much much longer (probably other long movies that haven’t been seen but this is the first one I thought of). If the South Park movie got voted in but Titanic was my second choice, I would later adjust my pledge to accommodate the much longer movie or vice versa
