😂😂😂 OMG, I was thinking to myself "maybe I should have just skipped episode 4" but your guys' reaction at the end of the episode had me in stitches. It was worth it just for that. I did say coming into this that it's a miss for me, but I feel like you can't skip misses on the first watch. It's no absorbalof (I'll admit I did skip that Doctor Who reaction, I just can't with that episode), but seriously what were they thinking? I absolutely HATE the cyber lingerie. How sexist. Just because we've got an adult timeslot and can carry adult themes doesn't mean we can take a cyberman look and make it sexy. What's next? Lipstick and g-strings on a dalek? 😂 On paper, the premise of this episode could have been interesting. I like the concept of a failed conversion, and Ianto trying to fix her but inadvertantly pushing the conversion further along. I think Jack and the rest of the team would have helped Ianto. I also get Ianto not wanting to let go, and making excuses after the first death, but come on! She had Gwen on the cyber conversion table, and tried to kill the entire team, surely there's a breaking point with him? The good news is, if you forget this episode ever happened, Ianto actually grows into one of the most lovable characters on the show. He is 100% a fan favorite, with a massive following.

This is an interesting episode, because for me I think a small part of it works, but the rest doesn't. I felt sympathy for Ianto at first, although no reactor I've seen react to this has felt any sympathy for him at all, most call for him to die and quickly. But I get it he loved her, people do desperate things for love, I also get why he didn't tell Jack she was their since Jack's whole job is to eradicate alien threats, which would mean killing her no matter what, she also worked for Torchwood and was a victim of the canary wharf battle and it seems like Torchwood just moves on from their people dying so quickly and don't seem to care much, so it was nice to see the show, show some of the effects of their people dying, I also thought it was a lot for Jack to order Ianto to kill her himself, since that's something that would destroy Ianto forever. So, in those moments, the beginning of the episode and the moment where Jack ordered Ianto to kill her, I had some sympathy for him, but then their was the rest of the episode, where they just did to much and it kind of seemed ridiculous that Ianto would still be trying to help her, I felt like the show should have had her kill someone more near the end of the episode, so we could also think their was a chance to save her and have more sympathy for Ianto, like they wanted us to or have Ianto stop trying to save her at some point and realize how bad she had gotten, but they way they did it just didn't end up working. But anyway great reaction, glad you at least had fun with the episode, Thanks to SeeJay for sponsoring and I look forward the next one.
