I never have been able to decide whether Sam or Danny is the cutest person. Or if it's Keeley. I don't know. I do think Danny might have been a golden retriever in a previous life, though. That's what his energy reminds me of. It's very sad seeing Jamie just starting to turn it around and then he gets told he's going back to his old team. The way he opened up when participating in the ceremony - it's the sort of thing I love about this show. It puts it in your face how everyone who's a jerk weren't born that way; they were probably a good person once. And that if you show them enough kindness and honesty, and be a positive example in their lives, then they can maybe stop being a jerk. And as the season goes on, you see how Ted's positivity affects people around him, and they start being more open and kind and they start to make some changes that are probably going to make their lives happier. And it's great to watch that happen. Unless, of course, they get traded to Manchester City just when you were starting to get through to them. Dang it.

I don't know if you guys are big NBA fans but the "Practice Speech" at the start of the episode was actually a direct callback to a very famous speech by Allen Iverson.
