I've watched the first season and the labeling of the show threw me off a bit. I was expecting heavy sports and comedy but the show is MORE of a mix of drama, romance, and relationships. The positivity, kindness, and charm of Ted Lasso are what I found most refreshing. He even manages to surpass Leslie Knope in that regard. Apart from the "comedy" and the depiction of football that I found very average, the rest is super.

Great reaction! I only recently finished the first season and part of the second, which is still being released one ep at a time. I had heard the buzz but was reluctant to watch a football show (not a big sportsball person myself). I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was about football rather than football ;) and found it absolutely delightful. Definitely lived up to the hype for me and looking forward to revisiting it with you guys!

When I first heard about this show I didn't have any interest in it, the fact that it was based on a commercial made me think, based on other shows made from commercials it would be terrible. However, because I'm a fan of Jason Sudeikis(Ted) and Juno Temple(Keeley) I decided to at least watch the first episode and it managed to hook me enough to keep on watching and then at some point I'm not sure when, it ended up becoming one of my favorite shows. I'm glad the show was chosen and I look forward to the reactions.
