Such a great episode! Jason really came through for his Not a Girl. I loved the mystery aspect and the fact that it was Janet who was fake. I had no clue at all. I also want to echo Jason that I would LOVE to see Michael's fire squid form. I love monster horror designs. Speaking of monsters...that Daisy the Horse Blob design in the cold open was perfection. I loved how grotesque yet also hilarious it was. One of my favorite cold opens in this show. I laughed so hard when it popped out of the paper and later when Bad Janet described killing it. BTW, the fact that she went into such detail about killing the horse was such a big clue. It was great to see Eleanor going to Chidi to cool down from her frustration and her talking to Chidi helped her realize the truth about Michael. Even when he doesn't know he's doing it, he centers her and improves her. Lastly, that joke about the demon growth stages was so pitch perfect. I laugh every time.

This is one episode I have some problems with, mostly because of Michael saying there is nothing they can do or say to convince the guys that it's really him. I feel like there's a bunch of things he could have said to Eleanor especially that the Bad Place would not have any ideas about. And this would be fine if we knew they didn't remember stuff from like S1 and S2 but there's a throwaway line next episode which confirms Eleanor and Tahani have all their memories. So I felt like it kinda did a disservice to Michael's friendship with them all that they were gonna let him blow himself up at the end. But even without that, to have Michael be a fake would have really devalued the heartwarming scenes earlier in the season where Michael gives Eleanor pep talks to boost her spirit, it would have made no sense for Vicky to do that. I just feel like Eleanor is smarter than this and was able to have faith Michael was her friend back in S2 episode 'Leap To Faith' with very subtle clues. Also Michael's whole thing about wanting a slumber party is actually a call-back to S1 episode where Eleanor 'helps' Michael stop stressing about work by getting him to have fun, so it comes off as suspicious but is actually just Michael learning from her how to be a good friend. I'm not sure how Michael blowing himself up would have fixed anything either because if Eleanor was so unsure if that was really Michael then wouldn't that mean there was a chance the real Michael was in the Bad Place being tortured? Would they have just left him there? I feel like this episode had too much going on to really flesh out in twenty minutes. I did love Jason getting to be a hero though and the Bad Janet twist was nicely played. I also really want that Stages Of Demon Growth joke on a t-shirt!

Loved This Episode And Your Reaction, Jason With The Touch Down. I Was Totally Surprised By That Reveal, That Was Excellent Writing. Also You Have To Give Credit To Shawn For Coming Up With These Evil Genius Plans, Just Imagine If Glen Hadn't Shown Up And Snitched The Experiment Would've Failed Definitely. Can't Wait For The Next Episode.
