6 pages of connverse goodness! I came up with this idea shortly after SUF ended-- I ADORE these two, and while I was really happy that we finally got an on-screen kiss, it's pretty evident by how casual it is that Steven and Connie started dating in the time that passed between "I am My Monster" and "The Future," leaving the SU fandom wondering what their first kiss was like...

So, OBVIOUSLY, I had to take make that happen. This will be a fully boarded animatic, and will exercise my skills in composition. I intend to pull some inspiration from Ghibli films!

When I wrote this script, I actually hadn't written anything since writing the script for my thesis film--  I felt rusty, but I got some help and critique from some writing friends!

Steven and Connies conversation is intended to do two things: show Steven reaching a point in recovery where he's ready to start a relationship, and also explore Connies potential weaknesses. The girl studies a crazy amount in SUF and, realistically, it doesn't appear healthy. I wanted to show that both of them have been working on themselves alongside each other, and that Steven isn't alone. <3
