Was the "Phil's samurai sword lesson" line in the intro a reference to The Microphones?? If so, I need to know which one of you slipped that in there lol

Patrick Crutchley

Great first outing. Can’t wait to hear more of mommy’s instructions.

Cristina Almaraz

Hell yeah. Some folks might not jive with it but this is exactly what I want from sb, and I'm really not a podcast person. Also, here's my petition for having Graham MacAree be on an podcast or column, I still think about some of his articles on the sb website, they were always on the most random and fascinating topics

Michael Roston

I liked the “game within a game” bit and it reminded me of the great days of Devin Hester’s returns for the Bears. Football was a lot more fun when he was doing that.

Love this as an Australian, would love to see more cricket content (especially since it's gonna be played at the 2028 Olympics) , or AFL or rugby. If I were to recommend anything, look at Glenn Maxwell's 201 run performance at the Cricket World Cup last year. One of the best batting performances of all time, with playing in near 100F heat, carrying his whole team on a busted back.

Reese Armstrong

this is like podcast as theatre and i love it
