hi everyone, i hope you're all doing okay! it's another journal with me this week, as things have still been feeling a little strange 🥲

i've been drawing a little nonetheless, mostly working on the 'everyday gloom' zine, but a couple of new ghosts too.

i wanted to make a couple that could be companions for inside notebooks/planners/journals. i'll put them in the shop this evening, for anyone interested 🙇🏻‍♀️

that's all for this week, but hopefully i'll have more of the zine to share with you soon. i hope you enjoy the video- if you watch until the end, you can hear wednesday snoring in the background 😅

take care and speak soon, friends x

I really enjoyed this week's video! I don't want to say that i like your journal with me's *more* than attic archives because they're beautifully made, but i definitely really enjoy your chatty videos and hearing your thoughts about things! They each have their own charms and are equally fun to watch to me I think (: your comment about wednesday honk-shoo snoring cracked me up, she's so sweet :P I don't know if it's comforting to hear but i really feel you about all the symptoms stuff and the interaction with being home alone most of the time, like. it does create a very specific weird physical and mental space 💀 and the 'giggly' tiredness wow, the number of times i've had to restrain myself from Posting online in that state because everything is hilarious to me but i *know* that that's not fully lucid me 😅 At the time it's kind of funny to experience but I'm also like helloooo can i have my me back please?! :P I hope that as you mentioned, this period of worsened symptoms is a flare up that will ease to 'normal' levels again for you soon <3 Idk about you but finding those brighter spots of things you look forward to or that make you laugh (like you mentioned horror movies) can be so hard for me sometimes but is also something i try to practice - wishing for many bright moments for you amongst all this ✨

Hi Megan! Insidious movies are my life!! The horror and horror genre is my comfort zone and every time I feel bad and depressed I look for a movie, a story, a legend or a book with creepy stories. I watched “The Red Doos” last Friday and really enjoyed it! But in my opinion it's a bit different than the other four (which I love passionately, especially 1 and 3, that guy with the maskkk! *fan screams *) because James Wang is not the director and the narrative, the colors, the images. they are similar but different at the same time. I don't know how to explain it now, but it's a great ending to the saga. I love many horror movies, but one of my favorites is “Kwaidan”, a Japanese anthology film from 1964 and “The changeling from 1980” (the latter which started my love for this kind of movies in my childhood). I also love Mario Baba 'Black Sunday' from 1960 and Viy (a 1960s Russian production) both about a vampire witch. Obviously, I also love Midsommar, especially extended cut, and Hammer movies. I want to see “Háblame” in August and “Knock Knock Knock”. kisses From Chile (a small and long country at the end of South America) Please, take care of you, you are a great and creative gloomy elf ! and all your online friends support and want the best for you. Kisses again. Rest!
