Felix Fischer is/was Perry’s father. A feline of many talents, Felix achieved fame and success over his many romantic, tragic novels and plays, his abstract paintings, and gift for playing the saxophone. Nonetheless, Felix struggled with depression throughout his life, and died of alcohol and narcotic abuse when Perry was a child. Perry mostly remembers his father as an eccentric stranger, a man as vaguely affectionate as he was incredibly distant. Liv remembers Felix as an inscrutable bastard, and their marriage one of codependent dysfunction- or mutually assured destruction, as Felix was fond of saying. In her weaker moments, she misses him- and in her saner moments, she’d quite like to spit on his grave.

Snickerdoodle is the mischievous and squeaky child Perry and Tibbs will eeeeeventually adopt. They’ve got quite a long road to go before that, however- adoption agencies are not the kindest to pred/prey couples, particularly where one member has a criminal record, as Tibbs does. Further compounding Perry and Tibbs’ frustrations are their dual feelings of inadequacy, as neither of them had particularly good or present father figures.

I know he would kill me but I want to grab those big ears kitty cat-style,,, like you have a (particularly trusting) cat and you take their little face and bobble them back and forth to watch their ears move around

SNICKERDOODLE, oh my goodness! I remember seeing her in your da gallery way back when. a squirrel is the perfect fuzzbutts expy animal for her. She is perfect. Felix on the other hand. Killer design, he looks super cool but at the same time looks like the perfect example of that "never meet your idols" line.

It's sad to say, but Perry looks so much like Felix. It's basically his linx doopleganger, with a DNA that copy pasted all his colors. Wonder If this detail contributed in creating Perry's disfunctional and resentful relationship with Liv.
