Perry and Tibbs are verrrry involved in the local queer scene. I want you all to know that Tibbs dances exactly like Latrell from White Chicks, and that Perry finds those hog wild moves absolutely irresistible. What are they dancing to? Chaka Khan, of course!

What I wouldn’t give to have the 8am leather daddy pancake breakfast

Adorable tiny dom Petry is the best. XD However, I have a question about the in-universe leather industry. I assume they use the "vegan leather" that's basically plastic or a lab-grown leather if that's even a thing but both of those are a very modern option. Is leather as a whole a new-ish concept after being avoided for ages because wearing a hide of another sapient animal is almost worse than eating their flesh? Did they use (and still use) reinforced fish skin? Is there some sort of an option to donate one's skin after death with an explicit consent to be used for someone's jacket? How is using leather goods viewed by the culture in general? I can imagine some conservative old cow flipping a lid over some "disgusting perverted hooligan" wearing an innocent faux-leather belt, let alone having it integrated in a kink scene.

Ha, I knew this question was coming. The answer is "don't think about it too hard". Real leather has definitely existed throughout FB history, similarly to books bound in human skin. The earliest leather would have come from deceased tribe mates and murdered rivals. As society evolved, leather was made from executed criminals (or "criminals") and cadavers, usually without consent. For obvious reasons, leather, no matter how useful, became seen as barbaric and gruesome, though a public discourse did emerge as people sometimes chose to donate their hide after death to be used to make book bindings, knife handles, etc- heirlooms for their descendants to treasure. Faux leather was invented in the 1920s, forever ending all discussion around the ethics of leather (jk, the discussion rages on, pleather just complicated the issue). Perry and Tibbs are wearing fake leather, but Tibbs absolutely would volunteer to be someday made into a badass leather jacket for old man Perry to wear (how metal), but Perry finds this idea upsetting for some reason
