decided to dump PB and Jam being otters in Fuzzbutts, because that earned me an impressive amount of comparisons to a certain old Disney cartoon that I ain't about to subject myself to again. Meet Cupcake's adoptive siblings, Jamie and Jazz Sweet. They were adopted by Cupcake's parents as toddlers, about five years after Cupcake's own adoption.

Jamie is quite gifted musically, but lacks the confidence needed to land that one big part he's dreamed of since he was tiny. Since landing bit parts at local Rainbow Road theater pays peanuts, he's currently gainfully employed at the Honeycomb, a cozy bakery that doubles as a queer-focused bookstore. Jamie is sweet, thoughtful, ridiculously acrobatic, and always genuine when he asks how his customers are doing as he pours their coffee. Jamie was once a painfully shy child that struggled with selective mutism, so his family, especially his siblings (especially Cupcake, good lord), are quite overprotective of him. Jamie sometimes appreciates this, but mostly wishes his family would realize he's a full-grown monkey now. He even almost said a swear word yesterday! >:I

Jazz is a peculiar contrast to her brother- she is confident, cunning, and sees no problem with manipulating rubes to get what she wants. Jazz runs in some pretty shady circles (that she keeps secret from her family) and may or may not associate with other dealers in dubious affairs...like Virgil. Despite her small size, Jazz is adamant she can take care of herself....and she does, partly thanks to a bit of hired muscle (Smokescreen expy when?). When not being gay and committing crimes, Jazz likes investing in her community and dabbles in amateur stand-up comedy. She has never missed a single performance of Jamie's. Despite only being a month or two older than him, she dutifully plays the part of the teasing big sister, and refers to him as "kid". Jazz's one weakness seems to be the unflinching stare of her elder sister Cupcake- to which she is powerless to lie to. Her solution to this is to speak in half-truths and weasel words until she can make a break for it before Cupcake can snatch her up.

-Jazz and Jamie share no biological relation. They were two idiot babs that met at the orphanage, saw that they were both monkeys, and consequently decided they must therefore be siblings. They've been inseparable ever since.

-Both monkeys are about 5 years younger than Cupcake. Having doted on them since they were babies, Cupcake may or may not be secretly delighted that the massive size difference between herself and her sibs means she can still scoop them up. Both monkeys quite like to climb and ride on Cupcake's shoulders like the walking brick wall she is.

-Jazz and Jamie are both genderfluid, just like their Pandoraverse counterparts.

-Jamie is still addressed as PB or Peebles by close friends and family (with Jazz sometimes calling him Jim). Jamie calls Jazz by her full name when he's angry/annoyed with her ("Jasmine Angelica Marie Sweet, you get back here this instant!!"), as this is an excellent way to PARALYZE her from sheer embarrassment when done in public.

-Both monkeys are friends of Penny's, and the older lemur puts in an embarrassing amount of effort trying to show her fellow primates that she's still hip and with it. She's fortunate both siblings find her cringey attempts at modern slang and trendy dances to be endearing.
