The return of Twaddles.  Being the weeby weeb otaku that he is, Twaddles is naturally really into cosplay, and spends exorbitant amounts of money and time crafting the perfect costumes. He's pictured here cosplaying as one of his favorite magical girl heroes, dear Ichigo Momomiya of Tokyo Mew Mew fame. Tokyo Mew Mew is an anime where teenage girls are injected with the DNA of endangered species, then use the resulting magic powers to kick evil aliens in the face. 10-year-old me loved it, and I was delighted to find that it's exactly as stupid and wonderful as I remember. Twaddles is a man of fine taste. Magical girl anime is a special interest of his, with him being genuinely invested in the characters and being especially enamored with the idea of transforming into a confident pretty girl with the power to save the world.

Cloudy pretends to be a more casual cosplayer, but in reality she devotes just as much time and effort into the hobby as Twaddles. She and Twads often collaborate (Twaddles is good at sewing, Cloudy draws out designs and measurements), and attend conventions together. She's shown here dressed as the character that actually inspired my final iteration of Cloudburst, Hatake Kakashi of Naruto. Cloudy has a fondness for slacker characters that pretend nothing bothers them (imagine that), and also she has a lingering crush on Kakashi but don't tell nobody bout that
