Unfinished: Can't Beat the Heat (Patreon)

Howdy all! Trying out something new- I think I'll be sharing more behind-the-scenes content with you guys here. That means unfinished art, the occasional secret fanfic, scrapped concepts, abandoned story drafts, the many, many headcanons I have stored, but never found a place to apply in the story. I'm hoping that sharing more unfinished concepts with you guys will help motivate me to finish them- especially upon hearing your feedback on what you feel works and what doesn't. So enjoy (hopefully!)!

This is a piece I've had sitting incomplete for a while- it got to the stage where I was playing around with colors and the background, trying to pin things down- but then life got in the way and I didn't finish it (though I do plan to....someday)

The story behind this is also a little too nebulous for my liking. Magnolia invited Belle over for tea, but really it's revenge for some slight Belle made against her (Mags knew Belle was too stubborn to drop their goth aesthetic, even if it means sweltering in the heat). But I never worked out the story more beyond that. If y'all have any ideas, I'd love to hear them! :>
