It is always SO much fun to see Thomas Barrow unleashed on the side of the angels. It's too bad that poor Diana and little Daniel were collateral damage but otherwise it all turned out to the good. I'm glad they didn't drag out Anna being imprisoned any longer. Another thing that bugs me about this tedious storyline is that it's now generally understood amongst everyone that Anna had a motive to kill Green, but we saw NOTHING of anyone's reaction to the knowledge. Carson should have been horrified. Robert should have been livid. Mrs. Pattmore, Daisy, Edith, Cora... they all should have been furious and sympathetic. But there was nothing. Just calmly discussing the fact that Green attacked Anna and they just have to prove that it's not in Anna's nature to kill. Poor Lord Merton. It's just so wrong that he's such a kind man who had decades of a miserable marriage and now he's not allowed to have any happiness. God, I loved the scene with Princess Kuragin. My only complaint is that we didn't see Danker tending to her. She had everyone in the house cowering before her haughty sneer and I would have enjoyed that with Danker. And yes, the revelation that Violet moved heaven and earth to find her in *gratitude.* She doesn't like her and is, in fact, rather terrified of her. But the princess stopped her from destroying her own life. But lord, I do feel sorry for the prince. He would have been so much happier alone. It sucks that Tom is leaving. But it's so touching to see how they're all going to miss him, especially Robert. And Carson and Mrs. Hughes! I think "of course I'll marry you, you old booby" is my very favorite acceptance of a proposal.
