I've been waiting for this since I saw you started reacting to AOS. This is definately one of my favorite episodes of the first season. The multiple perspectives, and that ending...this is the ep that really hooked me in for the long haul.

For me this is the real beginning of the show, the first half was good but mostly set up, this is where we start getting to the rest of the show.

I forgot how exciting and then terrifying the back half of this episode is! It’s a cool heist to start with and I love the multiple perspective structure of the storytelling, with each new section getting longer and more serious! It’s such a great episode in that it manages to mix both great action with great relationship moments, both humorous and emotive, which is so hard to do. It always gets me when Coulson finds Skye. You’re right it directly mirrors when Skye finds him! I love their relationship so much. But to be honest I think this episode does a great job of showcasing everybody’s relationship with each other. You’re so right that even after a short amount of time they’ve developed such a strong bond. That’s something that’s always impressed me and is vital for this kind of ensemble show. I’m so looking forward to seeing you react to the next bunch of episodes. To be honest from here, it just keeps amping up!

Love this episode and how much it changes everyone's roles. Ward has to be tech guy. Simmons is the undercover spy. Fitz and Skye are the field agents. Coulson is the doctor taking care of may who is in a more vulnerable role.

I like the little things in a scene. As for instance, when Simmons is hugging Fitz after stabilizing Skye, she makes sure to keep her hands off his back because they’re still covered in blood.
