Season 11 and 12 are just dean being worried about cas and sam reassuring dean that cas will be fine 🥺, i hate ketch, give dean back his picture you coward, if you want a picture of Mary maybe ask her for one! Or take one with her, dean only has one picture of her!, Sam & dean carving their initials on the table is so cute 🥰, the bunker has become their home too, i can't wait for next episode!

yay! this was so fun to watch in the middle of the night as i got ready for a 5am shift. i think this is an episode that hits harder in retrospect, but i truly had forgotten about most of it - except carving their initials. could never forget that. the bunker is such a good and protective home for them, it makes me very emotional. ketch is the worst. fuck the MOL. i love how passionate you are about your hate for them and while i also hate them i think they added a lot to this season - if nothing else giving us a human adversary who is also evil and we hate. that nuance is great. i'm really excited for the end of this season and can't wait to see your reacts!

The scenes of the boys in the bunker are definitely the best scenes of this episode. That legacy talk makes me emotional, especially thinking about what they've been through.

You will never watch that scene with the phone call to Ketch the same way after watching the season 12 gag reel, just sayin' haha. Gotta agree with Bex, the 'leaving our mark' scene does something to my tear duct every time

I was just thinking that 😂 it’s one of those scenes that no matter how many times I watch the scene, all I can see and hear is the gag reel! S12 gag reel really is one of the best, can’t wait for Shelley’s reaction

I'm not sure what parallel, if any, the writers were making here. But if I had to pick, it would be the sheriff being a parallel to Mary. They both attempt to leave the family legacy. But the monster (i.e. the god and Azazel) is still there waiting. Neither could escape their legacy. The two teens who were killed by the god could represent Sam and Dean. Mary's deal with Azazel irrevocably changed the boys lives. While they lived, their innocence and the possibilities for their future died. It became her legacy. It was the thing that defined her after her death. And it defined her family. But I could be completely wrong.

Isn't there one of Sam as a baby, Dean & Mary? I seem to recall Sam placing it on the floor of the restaurant at the end of S10, when he tells Dean to remember the love of family (when he thinks Dean is going to kill him).
